  • Hi all
I'm looking for an email address or postal address to sent a claim form to Malaysia Airlines for a long flight delay. Has anyone successfully won a claim from this airline? If so how did you do it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

My flight from Orlando to Gatwick was cancelled (delayed 24 hours) because of bad weather in the UK. We later found out that the weather had actually stopped the flight from Manchester taking off and they used the Gatwick plane to fly the Manchester passengers..presumably because there were less passengers flying to Gatwick and so less people to put into hotels. As there was no weather problem affecting Gatwick can I claim under the EU scheme??

Hi, I was also on this flight and was wondering the same. I'm going to submit a claim.
  • Just received the following email from American Airways:-
My claim had previously been rejected. - Result....

i have just received my letter from Jet2 after firing off a claim at the end of October they have refused to pay out any claim under ECRegulation261/2004 and they then cite a few court cases and the limitation for claims is reduced to 2 years.

We had a text 24 hours before our flight to Crete ( LS443 August 3 2010 Leeds Bradford) stating that our flight the next day was to be delayed 5 hours and we still had to get to the airport the usual 2 hours prior to that this meant we had a 7 hour wait and all the offered us was a £5 food voucher each,it wasn't the amount of money that was offered to us it was the fact that we still had to arrive at the airport the scheduled time even though they knew the plane wasn't going to be there until 5 hours later. Does anyone have any thoughts on my case please ?
I can't remember the reason they gave us for the delay it was either a pilot shortage or a aircraft shortage.
  • Paul you need to read the Jet2 thread.

Then if you have any queries post on that thread.
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Jet2 and their increasingly creative but pathetic excuses.
As advised earlier, you need to post on the Jet2 thread, and don't bother with any more correspondence, just start court action.
