  • Yes, thanks for sharing I for one wouldn't have guessed that the booking reference is the booking code.

NoviceAngle, I have posted this in reply of Vauban's post, not to tell anyone that booking reference is booking code.

I don't know who tripmole are, but I don't think they're based in the UK. Nor do I think they're very user friendly - their website asks you for your booking reference and the 13 digit ticket number. Who keeps those?
  • I need to find out who I flown with in 2008 - Not sure where to look on the flight stats website - Help anyone????

    Thanks
  • Do you know the date of your flight and the place you flew to. If you don't know this or the airline either you might find it just a little difficult to make a claim. Also it depends exactly when in 2008 it was. The time limit for commencing proceedings is 6 years from the date of the flight so at best you have about 6 weeks to get the case started and at worse you're too late
  • After over 3 hour delay this summer I followed Martins advice and emailed Easyjet with all the details. Fairly quickly I received a reply back advising of the pending court case so they would put my request on hold. Last week I had an email to say the case was overturned so my compensation would be paid and to confirm my details.
    Easy and no problems.
Money goes some way to make up for three of us losing a day of our two week holiday !!
    Thanks Martin

    I've been Money Tipped!
Where do you go when the airline are ignoring your letters?

Have sent Gulf Air letters to their Bahrain office - no way of tracking their arrival. I've sent Special Delivery to their UK ticket pod at heathrow. No response. What to do now please?

You establish that they have a legal presence - and assets - in the UK, and then you take them to court. Have a read of my guide (details below).
  • Anybody heard of this? Jochem Croon - Placing wallentin - Hermann inline with continuing airworthyness. An airticle were passenger claimed and won for EC'S after mobile stairs damaged an aircraft.
Check out Vaubans Flight Delay Guide, you will be glad you did....:):):)
Thomas Cook Claim - Settled Monarch Claim - Settled
  • Not specifically that case, but I think it's generally accepted that damage to an aircraft even if it's by a third party, is NOT an EC

'Croon' is a load of bunkum written long before Huzar by an airline executive but has often been included in airline bundles to courts:
