Maybe E2Save should take that name - forgetful?
Last year my friends/relatives and I had several deals through E2Save. Things rang like clockwork (can't say the same about Onestopphoneshop although the money eventually all arrived). In the last few months TWO of this year's deals have "forgotten" to pay the automatic cashback. Judging by similar feedback I have been reading a lot of lately this is becoming increasingly common. After prodding E2Save thinks it's then fine to allow ANOTHER 28 days AFTER the cheques are already late. I'm afraid I don't, so we're all off to your competitors. Pity - I'm quite happy that the money WILL arrive one day; but why should we put up with that sort of attitude? Not so bad if the deals WERE that good - but they're not, although I do accept that FINALLY they are offering a NEW 6300 on a 12 month free deal which (for once) DOES match the deal from the competitor whose t&c they have hijacked. First time though - weeks after they claimed to be price matching!
I actually think Rebecca does a reasonable job, but for those with little or no experience of E2Save and Onestopphoneshop I would recommend you take it with a pinch of salt. They do NOT price match 99% of the time - if you don't believe me, just ask them to match a really good 12 month free deal from a competitor (including a brand NEW phone) and see how much shrift they give you! Rebecca's statement that they "always offer price match deals that match other companies deals and there cashback terms and conditions also" is either inplausably mistaken or blatantly untrue I'm afraid! Her later suggestion that she could "see" if her products team could match a deal is more like it - but I know what the answer will be from repeated past experience!
As for the statement that "if you don’t like the terms and conditions and feel they are too difficult for you to follow, do not take the contract out and go for a deal with e2save’s standard t and c’s", it sums up their attitude when people ask awkward questions or give genuine responses to their actions. I have no objection to following ANY t&c IF the deal is good enough AND the company is reliable. The main problem here is that E2Save/Onestopphoneshop have simply copied someone else's t&c BUT haven't thought them through and so THEY don't understand them. They work well enough wih the company that WROTE them ONCE you know how they interpret them! It does seem to me that is any company decides to purposefully muddy the waters and play dishonest games to confuse it's customers it should expect justifiable flack. I would have been the first to defend E2Save until recently - their good points vastly outweighed their bad ones. I am very sad though to have to report that it is now the other way round - and that is a very honest statement. A lot of Rebecca's input is also accurate and helpful and I do applaud her efforts for that.
I wouldn't advise people NOT to still purchase through these companies, but I WOULD strongly urge anyone thinking of doing so to make entirely certain that they REALLY understand EXACTLY what the t&c require of them (and the increased risks therein of losing ALL the cashback should you get one small thing wrong) before taking the plunge with your eyes open (as opposed to veiled with promises and b/s!).0 -
If you login to "Your Account" on the e2save website it tells you exactly what to do to get your cashback (which bill, when to send, where to send to).
I'm quite happy that some people aren't organised enough to meet the T&C's cos if everyone met them e2save wouldn't be able to provide the deals.
If you go for a 12 mnth free line rental deal you must know that there has to be a catch somewhere and thats their T&C's. If you don't wanna earn your £360 cashback (which is how i look at it) then go for a std £30 monthly contract and you don't have to do anything....Jertzy x0 -

Just to add..i have 3 current cashback deals with e2save/OSPS worth a total of £853 in cashbacks so you can be sure i take it very seriously! :-)Jertzy x0 -

I would sign up with e2save except that I have read too many posts from people who have done exactly as you have stated and followed every word of their t&cs but still find that e2save try it on and not pay up. I believe that too many people are making correct cashback claims now and these companies need to delay or prevent customers from getting their money back.0 -
OK i'll go back in my corner and thank my lucky stars I'm gettin paid each time...i'm the sorta guy who buys a raffle ticket everytime but never wins....maybe cashbacks are my niche market lol
Happy hunting.Jertzy x0 -

Aside from e2saves dreadful terms and conditions there is the ever present problem that mail sent via Recorded Delivery is not being signed for on receipt. I know for a fact that Royal Mail, when delivering to large companies, will leave Recorded Mail along with the signing sheet, and this relies on the company concerned duly signing for what they receive. This is a problem that Royal Mail ought to address and they ought not to be leaving mail that requires a signature without first obtaining that signature.0
