If you login to "Your Account" on the e2save website it tells you exactly what to do to get your cashback (which bill, when to send, where to send to).
I'm quite happy that some people aren't organised enough to meet the T&C's cos if everyone met them e2save wouldn't be able to provide the deals.
If you go for a 12 mnth free line rental deal you must know that there has to be a catch somewhere and thats their T&C's. If you don't wanna earn your £360 cashback (which is how i look at it) then go for a std £30 monthly contract and you don't have to do anything....
Jertzy,
This is what it says on my "your Account" on e2save website.
Since you seem to be so clever and so "well organized" please tell me what date I should be sending my bills.
Offer Breakdown You Get
Automatic Cashback £70 in Dec 2006
Send bill dated Feb 2007 £83.04 in Apr 2007
Send bill dated Jun 2007 £83.04 in Aug 2007
Send bill dated Oct 2007 £83.04 in Dec 2007
If you followed their web advice YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR CASHBACKS.
Why?
Because their customer service tells something different altogether:
A direct credit of £70.00 will be sent out to you within 2 months of your
order being processed. I can confirm that your order was processed dated
13th October 2006. Your direct credit of £70.00 was raised for you dated
29th November 2006 via cheque.
In order to claim the remainder of your cashback you are required to send a
copy of your 4th (January 2007), 8th (May 2007) and 12th (September 2007)
month bills within 30 days of the airtime bill. You will then be credited
with £83.03 each time.
On my cashback vouchers it says to post the claims to Wednesbury address yet they now want to be sent to Dunstable address.
So, jertzy, when you see the above examples you will notice that there is a deliberate ploy to confuse the customers so they fail to meet their T&C.
What would Rebecca the moderator of e2save web site forum who posts on MSE would make of this?
Is she brave enough to answer this, or will she avoid to answer as usual?0 -
Think I can help; you're quite right about them giving conflicting information.
Your deal must have been under the "normal" t&c since the "match" ones are quite recent (last few weeks). In fact, their older t&c in Octopber were "months" 4, 8 and 12. Assuming you got the phone in October you need to send the bills that are produced in January, May and September.0 -
Hi
I have just signed up with e2save.com and need advice on filling the claim form correctly. It's a pricematch deal. There are three lines to fill-in:
a) Transaction number: What do you put in this line and where would I find this info
b) Cashback Claimed: I'm OK with this
c) Mobile phone number: I take it the number is the number of mobile that is on contract which I am claiming for.
then send it to the CREWE Address
Any help gratefully received.I have learnt that providing excellence gets you what you deserve and not what you want !!!0 -
Rebecca,
I have sent in 2 cashback claims, they went in the same envelope and I spoke to the cashback dept on the phone and they confirmed that they received them and the cheque is being raised. However, we haven't recieved any confirmation texts. Is that usual? Will I be OK?
Many thanks in advance0 -

Eyes down for a full house....
You should go by the documentation you received with the phone which typically says: ££££ month 6, ££££ month 8 etc.... then check versus "Your Account". In my opinion what customer services have told you/sent you isn't right but if you printed that off and sent it in with your copy statement I reckon you'd get paid.
You were connected in October so your 1st bill was October and your 4th bill is same date in February - which ties in with "your account". You have 30 days from the date on your Feb statement to get your claim to e2save. (EDIT: i got this bit wrong,,,see later in the thread!)
When I send my claims I attach a printout of the "Your Account" bit to it so its clear to whoever opens it which bill is required. I also send by Special Delivery. I then check Royal Mail to ensure delivery has been made & signature appears online (I screenprint that bit & keep on me pc just incase). Then 2 weeks after I ring them up on 0845 6551246 and check that they have raised the payment. If not you can then argue the toss and quote Special Del ref - and you still have time to send again... but shouldn't have to).
Thats all I do & i get paid. I sent 2 off at end of May & both are in their cheque system already. when i receive them I will post back on this thread.
If it isn't working for you maybe you are unlucky or they are targetting you but please try my approach and see how you get on.
Oh and always send to the address in "Your Account" ie. Dunstable. Wednesbury was the one time I didn't get paid, there was a known problem with the Royal Mail there not delivering them.....conspiracy? hmmmmmmmmmmmm
I kept Royal Mail's complaints department entertained for a year on that one!Jertzy x0 -

(a) its on the documentation that came with your phone (top right corner)
(c) yes - but can't believe you asked that question....Jertzy x0 -
Aside from e2saves dreadful terms and conditions there is the ever present problem that mail sent via Recorded Delivery is not being signed for on receipt. I know for a fact that Royal Mail, when delivering to large companies, will leave Recorded Mail along with the signing sheet, and this relies on the company concerned duly signing for what they receive. This is a problem that Royal Mail ought to address and they ought not to be leaving mail that requires a signature without first obtaining that signature.
Agree 100% Steve.
the workaround is Special Delivery......Jertzy x0 -
last 6 cashback claims sent recorded to old wednesbury address - none signed for but all paid out - most recent one sent 2 weeks ago recorded to dunstable address and remarkably showing on RM website as signed for and had confirmatory text of receipt from e2save - in some ways i'm a bit disappointed as i have loads of books of first class stamps from RM as compo for not getting recorded delivery signed for0

I'm sorry to disagree (E2Save makes things SO consistently clear - and THAT was before they thought they'd be clever and steal the Mobile Affiliates t&c because (I suspect) they are no longer competitive without such ploys).
Under the old t&c in October 2006, if you got the phone in October then October IS the first month (bill or not!) and the claims are January, May and September! Honest!0 -

I was completely wrong & clearly I can't count up to 4 ! Just checked mine & it started December, so my 6th month bill to send would be May. I checked online & it said May also....and its being paid. Dunno why Cobra's is out of sync....weird.
I'll get my coat...........Jertzy x0
