have just noticed with the e2save cashbacks, you have the option of going for the usual cashback deals where u send bills etc OR the option of auto cashback where they pay you direct..

now for the autocashback, the same deals are TWICE as much as the normal ones and why would this be if they look to "honour" and pay for all deals, surely with auto cashback they kno they wont be able to screw anyone over so have to make up for it charging more!

avoid them like the plague!

Avoid who like the plague? If your on about e2save then I think you would be wrong as they have been very good for cashbacks.

The whole autocashback being much lower makes perfect sense, seeing as they only make money if you dont claim your cashback. If they automatically gave you all of it, then how would they make money?

your obvious one of the very few then. No the whole cashback thing isnt that they make money from ppl claiming ur completely wrong! They get massive commissions from the networks when ppl take out deals with them, they are like middle men and a small proportion of these "savings" get passed on to you.

I was with 3 network previous to this who were excellent and their new £15 per month auto deal is something i will use aftr this !!!! has finished.
  • Hi, I work for e2save.com and I can confirm shareef is absolutely correct.

E2save do base each cashback deal on the amount of commission we get from the network but Im not sure where you found the states confirming we get massive commission from the network and only a small portion is given to the customer.

so ur actually not denying it saying e2save do rely on people NOT claiming and when ppl start to claim make it as difficult as possible for this actual reason..which was what sareefs point goes on to imply.

..Guys we have it from the horses mouth!!
  • Well I am sorry you feel like that nick1234 but that is your personal opinion. I understand everybody will not be satisfied with the way the deals work but they are aware of this before the contract is taken out and can chose if or not they want to continue.

We do have terms and conditions in place for the cashback with our contracts and these can be viewed before the order is placed and they then can decide for themselves if or not they will be able to make the claims correctly to receive the cashback successfully. If customer thinks they will not be able to make all of these claims successfully we offer them an auto cashback, but yes this is less as shereef has stated.

No its the opinion of many on these boards and there was a huge thread abt this few months back, also if u google e2save u get a unportionate amount of complaints.

People also do make the claims "correctly" but they are then "lost in the post" or ignored, but subsequently paid out when legal action is taken..now y would that be if customers were at fault and hadnt followed the t+c's?

    All cashbacks work that way.

If the customer claims then they get a percentage of the mobile network's kickback. If the customer forgets then the phone supplier makes more money.

If they work everyone is happy :)
