It may not be much consolation and I accept that E2Save can be appalling at times, their on-line help is abysmal and so on... but I have stopped using recorded delivery since I get texts confirming receipt and processing within days of sending second class. If I didn;t get one withing a week or so I would re-send recorded delivery - although this is no longer an option when their plagurized new t&c under the flasehood of "pricematching" requires original bills. They are getting worse every week - last year their good points far outweighed their bad ones but their attitude nowadays has already sent me to the competitors they CLAIM to be matching!

    I sympathise!

    Mobilejunkie,
Did you know if you make early, duplicate, multiple claims they will charge you £10 Admin charges?

    Read it here:

    Administration charges

Due to the number of early claims, duplicate claims, incomplete claims and multiple claims, we will charge you £10 for each case encountered.

So if you get the months wrong (as in my case when the dates on 'my account' are different from c/s one), or as you suggest to make duplicate / multiple claim you'll get £10 charge.

So you are between a rock and a hard place.

Whatever it takes so that you default on your cash back.

As the say 'nice little (or bigger) earner.'

The thing here is that the law would look unfavourably on e2save. The law would say that their terms and conditions are deliberately set so as to mislead and frustrate the consumer, and they are unfairly biased to e2save. Such unfair terms within contracts can void the contract and e2save would do well, as part of Carphone Warehouse, to heed this warning unless they relish the thought of receiving further bad press.

Anyone bringing a case would undoubtably be successful in their claim against e2save. Any reasonable court adjudicator would conclude that their terms and conditions are grossly unreasonable, biased and unfair.

Er... yes, I read it before they copied it and used it themselves. It's been Coolnewmobile/Phonebox Direct's t&c for m,onths and I am extremely familiar with them or (unlike many) would never place an order with them. However, you are obviously new to them; most of my deals (all up to now, in fact) are under the so-called "normal" (also different to last year's if you really want to know) t&c. I would never be so foolish as to take STUPID risks! And it really WOUDL be stupid NOT to read thoroughly and UNDERSTAND their t&c - WHATEVER they are!

Cobra - do you have a link to these Ts&Cs? - I can't find them on their website. Just want to print them off for my 'court file'.

Pick the 12 monht free Nokia deal, click on "12 months free", then download the full t&c on Acrobat and print off. Vola!

(Or go to the competitor who wrote them and just stick in the E2Save email address where appropriate, with one or two new minor changes!)

Also on the E2save Forum I think everything is checked b4 it goes onto the forum itself...so there will be nothing bad about the company!!

I can confirm as Forgetful has posted above.
Everything on E2save forum is sanitized before being put on their site.

    Read it here: http://www.e2save.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=238

All posts are approved before they are shown on the forum so sometimes there is a delay with posts being shown.
