Hi Drunkastar
Thanks for the relpy, Only use computer for surfing and downloading music, no games or anything. Countries would need to be NZ and Canada have family there. Got wirerd modem at moment but wireless would be nice.
Thanks again
Right then. Option 1 BB is all you need, unless you download more than 5-6 songs a week regulaly. Take BB talk to get calls to NZ and Canada at 1.5ppm.
Littleowl, as far as splitting bills goes I dont belive it can bo done yet. Maybe when youre line is transfered to WLR3 as then the billing is in a different system, but not yet. As far as faults, I know NOTHING about that side. The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Member 20 -

Thanks Drunkstar. I was paying £42 a month for option 2 broadband and option 3 phone combined. I phoned the 0800800880 number and managed to reduce my monthly payments down to £26, they're giving me a home-hub, hub-phone and BT vision with no setup fees. I've still got broadband option 2 but have taken my phone-calls down to option 1, as I will use the hub-phone to make my calls.
With the fee-less BT Vision, they requested that I sign up to one of their packages for 1 month which cost me £6. I'll see if it's worth keeping and, if not, unsubscribe at the end of the month.0 -
drunkstar, thank you - due to your advice we will be saving approx. £150 this year. Changed from option 3 BB to option 1 - inc hub phone, but no BT Vision (coming late 2009.. the price you pay for living in the sticks).
yay you. (no thanks to BT overseas client advisors).
just a little question...we are on option 1 BB, at what times are calls free on the hub phone?
thanks in advance.0 -

Drunkstar can u help.
I am on option 2, contract running out shortly.
BT phoned offered me £3 pcm reduction and a free lexmark printer if I stay with BT.
Can I get this reduced further and include BT Vision.
Also will they wave the £30 setup fee if I push them.

terrym: the printer offer is a set one, nobody can give you better while leting you keep the printer.
If you want Vision and a higher discount more then ring up and ask to talk to COT. You can get Option 2 down to £14.99 and fre vision (assuming its OK on your line).
