Correct, wrong map versions. See here to find out which ones you need:

Hi Ali,
It could be the wrong map versions, but you could try renaming the main map directory on your SD card from north-america-map to north_america-map.
I just looked at my TomTom 6 installation and noticed all the maps with two names in it are separated by an underscore and not a hyphen.0 -
Ok all you lobster techies, see if anyone can help me on my particular Lobby problem...
It should be simple. I am not trying to load tomtom or any other program on it. I am merely trying to get the damn thing to work properly! Got it last 8 days ago. Initially it worked fine as phone and text, but could get no tv on it. Spoke to numerous techies and CS agents at Mobile customer service, and finally yesterday we got the tv to work. One of the Virginmobile techies talked me through a factory re-set on the phone. Was then able to subscribe to tv license and get tv. great i thought.
However, after the factory re-set the techie said he had sent me a text message to click on to get my license. Text never arrived ( i ended up somehow getting license by just following on screen prompts, cos i gave up waiting for text to arrive)
When I tried to look in my inbox to see if text arrived, i found I had No inbox! It seems to have disappeared. I was able to send a text, although the folder containing outbox is also missing. tried sending a text from another mobile to my Lobby. Never arrived.
What has gone wrong?
I called virginmobile again today but the CS was unable to assist and has passed the details onto the techie guys. Hopefully they will contact me to help.
Meanwhile, has anyone here got any idea what has gone wrong?
I was really pleased to finally get the TV part to work. But not at the cost of losing the SMS service!
Pleae help....`Save a little money each month, and at the end of the year, you'll be suprised at how little you have.0 -

I feel a bit intimidated by the process needed to remove the application lock.
Will the Virgin spend £30/unlock phone achieve this or is that just to unlock sim?0 -

Virgin will unlock the phone to allow the use of any sim. However, that's not the same as the application lock. That removes the lock which stops you installing uncertified programs (i.e. programs MS doesn't want you putting on the phone). In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

Orange have an App Unlock site, It might be worth your while asking Virgin if they have a similar service or if they can help you0 -

Might I suggest the obvious.
Ring Virgin (789)and say that your's is faultyand ask for another one.
At least you KNOW that the new one is probably OK so if there is any fault from there-on it must lie with the user.........Yep-YOU!!"Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0
