hi, i haven't seen this error yet.could be you have too much stuff on your phone. ie. each item you sync from avantgo has a file size, on the guardian site you have the option to vary content size.but most of the stuff is configured to load onto these devices. dont forget you have to bring up the menu on the phone itself and press the sync button while you are connected to avantgo. other than that try microsft webpage for their mobile solutions.very good info there. i was wondering if anybody has installed the clearview software yet? like to know whats its like.cheers.0

Darn, it won't work in an unlocked phone. Have you sim unlocked your lobster yet? If you have you could put one of the other sims in and try and import the sms's from that0 -

From that menu select "SMS Service". This should be set to "Circuit-switched preferred".
Return to the "Connections" menu and select "GPRS" then "Virgin GPRS". The settings for this, from top to bottom, should be -Connects to: The Internet

Password: <blank>
Primary DNS: 0.0.0.0
Secondary DNS: 0.0.0.0

The VM website erroneously gives an IP address to use so there is a good chance that the factory reset also inserts it.0 -

HOW DO I TELL????
Also, if I download an application to my PC and using the 'My Computer' route to enter the lobby, (I assume this is the quickest method)
WHERE do I copy the application for it to work and what do I do then?
Wasting a whole bl00dy Sunday trying to sort this so please respond.

Got any shoplifting/pickpocketing tips to pass on?You certainly can! I discovered this by trial and error at the weekend.
Load your MP3 file to the "My Documents" folder and it will appear in the drop down list of available tones. It will also recognise .wma files.
I do hope those aren't rips you're sticking on your phone.

Some apps are installed via activesync and some by putting the cab on the phone and running it from the phones file manager.

Both apps are excellent and both require an unlocked phone to work
They also come in both installation formats for you to play with.
Download the windows installer for one and the cab for the other.
When installing cabs I always put them in the root of the storage cards and install from there

One more thing to add to this; when installing, you're given the choice to install to the storage card or the device. Pick storage card, as it will save you space. Some apps. won't work if you save them on the storage card, though. Just a case of trial and error.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

Both installed and they seem to work.
Not a lot of luck with the CAB that I tried though.
I take it I need to put the CAB in the root dir of storage card and use file manager to run it?
Edit: just read your addendum.:0
Perhaps I need to store the CAB on the device for this to work.
