I do wish that Virgin CSR's would be more sure of the facts before making statements.

THEY HAVE NO MORE RECON FONES IN STOCK!!!!!

They only have the £39. NEW stocks.

Thanks for that link, its not 100% for the lobster but enough information to get it working on o2.
The only thing a cannot get working now is MSN messager, any one managed this with o2 sim card in ??

Maybe you should delete the other post. I am sure people will ring seeing your post rather than wait until they read the rest of the posts in this thread

Sorry Matt - I should have been clearer, the instructions were not for the Lobster but the link gave all the wap, gprs and mms settings you need to change over to O2.

I have never used MSN messenger so I can't help you, sorry. I would have thought though that all you needed was a functioning gprs connection

Its Gavin by the way.. Yes the setting are fairley close, i would not have got internet & mms working without them. I thought the same that MSN should work but it just throws up an error.
I dont like it myself but its just an easy way too keep in touch with my kids some times !!

does anyone have an alarm program that will work when the phone is off? (like on a nokia) as i find that as i turn my phone off in the night then it doesnt turn on with the alarm setting.

This thread although for the C500 mentions that full internet access isn't available for O2 pay as you go and that because of this Messenger will not run.

You may want to check it out

Now unlocked and working great on my existing t-mobile sim but how do I set up the internet access?

People have linked the sat receiver from pda mods

Now this says it comes with maps. (the picure shows directions being given too)

Will i be able to load these and use the lobster as a navigator or do i still have to buy extra software?
