When you click on messaging do you get
SMS
Outlook Email
MMS
yes. I get that much. When I click on SMS it goes to a blank screen. It says SMS along the top grey bar, and NEW and MENU along the bottom grey bar. When I go into menu and select folder it goes to SMS and lists the icons for DELETED ITEMS, DRAFTS INBOX OUTBOX and SENT ITEMS. When I select INBOX it goes to the blank screen again. Seem to just go round in circles.
Losing patience with it now :-(`Save a little money each month, and at the end of the year, you'll be suprised at how little you have.0 -
I feel a bit intimidated by the process needed to remove the application lock.
Will the Virgin spend £30/unlock phone achieve this or is that just to unlock sim?
Well intimidated or not, this is a money saving site so I gave it a go and with a couple of hiccups got the application lock removed.
Many thanks to Darryl and Ali for the post #488 on the grabbit thread

To be honest the map was a download and it is 1.2gb in size with no version no. attached (is there a way to find it), I was in the process of downloading another version, however thanks to totoriko's link I have discovered that this version is def. incorrect. Argghh, now to try to find a version that will work as this is the main reason why I wanted it.
Incidentally, I used the satnav for the first time today and was very impressed indeed. What a phone this is turning out to be, can't wait to get this all sorted out so I can move onto getting games and other apps on it.
Once again thanks to all those who are helping / have helped me, I think that is the beauty of mse - most people want to try and help.

When you are in the empty inbox try Menu - Folders - Menu - Show All Folders.
You could also try putting the sim in another phone. Send a text message to the phone so you have a sms on the sim.
Then put it back into the lobster open up the sms inbox again and press menu, options and import sms messages. This should then move the sms into the inbox.
If that works it will narrow down the problem a bit0 -
Trying to get the A2DP hack to work but no luck, so need help.
According to the guide at XDA forums, the 3 dll files should be copied over to /windows via active sync.
I guess this means copy the 3 dll's to 'my windows mobile icon' because I can't find any folder specifically named windows.
Then I copied to the device and executed the Tor_A2DP_cert.CAB and it installed successfully.
Now using registry editor, I reached [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID but the required registry '!!7AAC2B28-5DD1-4052-81DD-E17114EE96B6}' is not there.
If the 3 dll's installed on to the device and the Tor_A2DP_cert.CAB ran, then why is the '!!7AAC2B28-5DD1-4052-81DD-E17114EE96B6}' registry not there ?
what am I doing wrong ?0 -

The above is a very handy tool. Sorts out your start menus by putting them in order of how often you use the programs. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

I use this homescreen and under the program tab you can select your favorite programs as shortcuts0
