Lots of them are re badged HTC. I know the lobster isn't mentioned but it would be strange if it wasn't supported. Did you try it?0 -
It appears that HTC devices don't have the right hardware to record calls. Downer
Further to my last post - I downloaded the cab file, installed it on the lobster, set it to autorecord incoming calls and to save the mp3 files to the storage card.
It worked perfectly - the mp3 files include the number that called, the date and the time and will playback through media player without a problem.
The download is try before you buy and will work for a fortnight before you have to decide if you want to purchase
hope this helps0 -
And you got both parties recorded ? (!) That will be amazing if so.
Cheers,

I didn't because user reports on other HTC 'phones stated that they could only record your side of the conversation and not the other party - and that many mobiles are similar due to a hardware limitation.0 -
Just the normal phone. One side is always quieter than the other but I haven't changed the quality settings to test them all, I only installed it to see if it worked and it does.
As I said - its free for the first fortnight so you should install it and see if its what you want.
Updated
Ok - so I just tried it with the supplied headphone set and it works and if anything is better quality than without IMO0 -
Someone on one of the forums was boasting about him watching East Enders on the 'Tube'.
Dunno if it's different as the signals there must be pretty strong.
As to why it might not work, it's like any radio (includes mobile phone, TV, ...) signal. Obstacles between the transmitter and you (e.g. buildings, tunnels) will deteriorate the signal. The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!
