The battery on my lobester phone isn't that good.
It just doesn't last as long as I expected, especially when I am only on radio. I thought radio won't use much battery, but mine got flatted with 4 hours.
Is my expection to high?0 -

Acc. to the bargain thread and one review it will last around 4 hours using DAB. So yours is spot on. Spare batteries are available (Samsung ST26A ?).0 -

Damn, it's subscription based0 -
I guess I am looking for two things.
A case to protect the phone, am not too fussy, but would need to access most of the keys/buttons and see the screen with it on.
Also I just want to pay, plug and play Sat Nav at a reasonable price without having to guess the version. Does no one sell it this way anymore?
Now its starting to sell they may make the accessories easier to get or locate ... (batteries/headphones etc) hope one of the accessories firms are noting the interest so will start to list the Lobster as a phone lol:j0 -
Re call recording
Are you looking for free software or are you willing to pay. Have a look at this
You can download the program so maybe you can try before you buy0 -
I think it would be good if a lot of the posters realise that I and many others are totally green about all things GPRS, BLUETOOTH, and other techy stuff.
What type of progs will run and what type wont would be a good starting point.
Here here to that.
Lots of sites to go through, but is there one that can run me thriugh in childs language how I put together The Lobster, Tomtom, and Navman Spin which have all now arrived? Do I need to get maps too? I really am new to this.0 -
Regarding cases.
search on ebay for item no: 290117523754 -- Nokia N73 case
I have bought 2 and they fit very well, with a hole for earpiece and mic in the right place and all other side buttons too. Also can see all the screen and buttons. Good quality and cheap enough.
Spare batteries.
Afer much searching I found these which are the same voltage and dimension, and with a desktop charger are about a tenner I think. Appear to be Samsung and almost the same mAh. search ebay for item no: 320111070582
Memory cards.
If you buy 2x 2Gb Kingston micro SD cards with SD adapters from memorybits.co.uk
they qualify for google checkout (over 30), so you get £10 off and it works out just over £14 each delivered. NB: They are faster than the Sandisks
Good luck, and thanks to the OP and all other helpful posts.0 -
I keep getting not a valid windows ce application when trying to run tomtom mobile 5.2, any ideas.0

Thanks for the case recommendation Mike, not really used Ebay before, but I have ordered a case to try.
Imsi .... I know how you feel, I understand what I need but cant find the right tomtom software at the right price. Then I just wonder how they match together. I can follow instructions but where do they come from??:j0
