Ummmm.... just outta interest, did anyone pick up on the fact that when OP questioned OH about love note, he didn't ask 'what love note' or 'what are you on about'?? He seemingly already 'knew' what she was referring to and dismissed it!

I asked him about this when he got home and he said that on valentines day a lot of them did this sort of stuff at work (He said he apparently didn't receive anything) and that they were being used as scrap paper now.

Doesn't feel very legit to me but...

I'd be very suspicious. If the note was the only thing, then I'd probably accept it was scrap paper or someone having a laugh. There are too many other things relating to the phone and days out.

    Gut instinct is usually right.

why does he need a password on his phone?

In case it is stolen or lost. Isn't that obvious?

Agreed with busiscoming2. Just the note, yeah ok. But all the phone stuff is kinda weird...

Sorry to be blunt, but he's obviously having an affair. The protection on the phone, not answering messages, the scrap paper and pretty much everything else points to it. You'd need to be very naive or deluded frankly not to see it. It's too late now to request access to his phone, etc as he'll have gotten rid of the incriminating evidence.

I'd say to him "Look at this behaviour, this behaviour and this evidence, say I was doing these things, what would you think?". I'd then request a break from each other, like you say, you're 'drifting' anyway, that's not a relationship worth being in really, is it? You deserve more than being unsatisfied with a man who is obviously cheating on you because he's clearly bored too.

Shame you didn't come along earlier. This could have been a much shorter thread.

I waited for as much info as I needed to form my opinion.

Let's wait and see, although it looks as though the OP is going to adopt "head in sand" mode.
This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !

I didn't know you could have a password on the phone and am not aware of anyone that uses this. Surely it makes it a palaver whenever you want to use the phone?
