Affair?

I was in the middle of making dinner just now and went to put something in the bin when I saw a note with a heart drawn on at the top of the pile. I've taken it out and in female handwriting (or feminine - either way definitely not my husbands) is written "I love you xxxxxxxxxxx", on the other side is his shifts written down from work, and on another attached bit the heart with the arrow I saw.
He's at work for another three hours so I can't ask him and I have three hours of agony. Could it be an affair? He has his phone passworded and its attached to him at the hip, in my fluster I checked his email and nothing on there, and the lack of browsing history indicates he's been using the secret option. Am I being crazy? Is there another possible explanation?

You maybe over reacting, if it is in the bin, then it means nothing to him, besides he could have used the bin at work.
On top of that, someone may have written the note on the paper in error.
Besides that your man is amazing and wonderful...0 -

Yeah, there are plenty. Scrap paper being the most obvious.
If he was having an affair, you'd like to think he'd be a little more discrete about it than that. You're probably worrying over nothing, so just chill until you can talk to him about it.
FWIW, though, I'd ask him to take the password off his phone, or at least tell you the password - it's obviously causing you concern...0 -
If that was me Id ask him straight out face to face when he got back what is this? So he has no time to make anything up. You can then probably tell from his body language if he's lying or making excuses.0

I wouldn't worry about it at all right now, but I would ask him when he gets home. You'll know from that whether you have anything to worry about.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Things aren't exactly peachy. It's not bad as such but were more best friends than lovers. I know it sounds weird, but I've just felt like he's been hiding something. Before when he had days off I'd ask him what he'd got up to and he'd go on and on. Now if I ask if he had a good day and if anything interesting happened he just says he's done nothing all day, and when I ask how he did nothing for 8 hrs he just shrugs and said he did. Probably nothing but...0

Communicate, ask him, try to take a day off with him, do things together.0 -
