Was anybody on the delayed flight last year from Fuerteventura to Newcastle on Saturday July 5th. I am sure the flight was TCX 6107. I have contacted TC twice but they have sent me bog standard reply refusing compensation. I have also tried a flight compensation firm but they say they have no details of flight?????

    Strange, which flight compensation firm?

Read the excellent guide by Vauban all your answers are in there.

If you want to go down the NWNF route, many forum users mention Bott do a search for that name, I've not used them myself but they seem to have a good reputation on here.

  • Good Afternoon,

Movement at last!! I received a letter today saying:

Upon the defendant not complying with order dated XXXX, The DJ has made the following comments:

The defence is struck out pursuant to the order dated XXXX - no further order is necessary, the Claimant must set out how the sum sought is calculated (bearing in mind the fixed amount under the regulations) and amount of interest claimed.

Do I just respond with the original amounts stated on my MCOL adding 8% interest? And is the 8% a straight 8% of the total or is it 8% per day of the total.

Any help would be grealty appreciated.

  • I had an email saying I was getting Payment for a 261/2004 delay on the 16th January within 28 days. Nearly 6 weeks later I still have not heard anything. I have also emailed relations.thomascook 3 times in the last 10 days and got no reply. Any suggestions please.
