For those who are worried about the reliability of this deal as it is a cashback deal, not only do you have an E2Save employee answering queries on this thread but you have Martin's word that he is only advertising this deal because he believes E2Save to be a reasonably reputable company.
What's more, he has underlined this point by saying that he can put prssure on them if need be.The market's riddled with cashback deals like this, but the short contract and reasonably reputable company, who I can put pressure on, make it a better bet.
So...if you have no joy from E2Save, you can always petition Martin to do something about your problem.

Hi Guys, as Reestit Mitton has said I am here posting to offer advise. We approached Martin with this deal and if you have a problem i'll be here to help as much as possible. If there was something underhand about the deal I wouldn't be here.
Best wishes,

The main problem reported with e2save is you don't keep to your side and pay up within 30 days!
The usual answer given is "Oh we have a backlog - give it another 14/28/30 days (sometimes "working" days)"
You wouldn't be so kind to give us another 14/28/30 days to get our claims in if we forgot (or would you?)0 -
Hi Quentin - do you have a cheque outstanding to you at the moment?
thanks,
e2saverep0 -
Yes - and this is not the first time!!
I have been chasing it and been told of your "backlog".
Though I am not alone in having this problem I assure you!!0 -
e2saverep: it might help if you could clarify the cashback procedure... in particular for those who receive part billing on their first bill.ummm...0

Hi g33za, the bills you send in differ depending on the contract length you take be it 6 month, 12 month or 18 month. I just spoke to customer service and the best way of understanding it is the month of purchase is classed as month 1. Therefore if you purchased a 12month contract today, for your first part of redemption we ask you to send in bill 6, so you bought today in April for your first part of redemption you send in Septembers bill.
As I said please view our cashback centre online - we have full instructions:

e2saverep: Thanks for the quick response. So for example: Someone purchased a contract phone today got a bill 3 days later from the network. This will be classed as bill 1 even though it has a part month charge as the next months too? (I'm asking this for the benefit of others as I see this question asked a lot, and although I'm confident the answer is yes i'd like to make sure).ummm...0

Hello e2saverep
I wonder if you have had a look at your recorded delivery arrangements which aren't being recorded. This is all true and documented. Have the arrangements changed or improved. Do you have a proper post room? Perhaps we could receive our cashback even now?
Here is my message:
Just thought I'd let you know about my experience with e2save: Big Carphone Warehouse cash back and their so called recorded delivery advice.
Our family have had 7 phones or more on cash back offers from e2save.
We received our cashback except for one of them. When I challenged them about why I had not received the cash back they said that they had not received the claim for it.
I had sent it by recorded delivery as they demanded.
I proceeded to check up with the post office about the receipt of the cashback letter and was told that they did not have a signature for my cashback letter from e2save. In other words e2save had not signed for the receipt of my letter.
Fair enough I thought maybe it had not been delivered. As I had sent another claim on the same day for which I had received my cashback I proceeded to check the post office delivery record for it. I found that there was no signature of receipt from e2save for this claim for cashback either. How strange??
Then I checked up with all my other cashback recorded delivery claims which had been paid out to me. None of these had been signed for by e2save.
I therefore had no claim for loss against the post office apart from the £1 fee.
Sending via recorded delivery gives you no protection with e2save because they did not sign for the receipt of any of the cashback claims that I sent to them.
The post office told me that e2save have loads of recorded delivery letters but they do not have a proper post room set up to process them and sign for each one.
Therefore you are wasting your money using recorded delivery and it is impossible to get any sense from e2save if you have a legitimate complaint.
Their call center so called customer service help line is a misnomer. When I told them that I had been paid for one of my claims but not the other they told me to send the next months mobile bill and everything would be ok. I did do that (all recorded delivery too); I received nothing. Following up with further letters and phone calls they told me that the bill that I had sent them was outside the 30 day limit!!!!
No! No! No! Do not be seduced by the Big Name Carphone Warehouse its just like any old tinpot back entry didler mobile phone supplier.
I have since bought a phone on cashback from The Link which worked a treat.
Best wishes0 -
Hi again g33za. So if you bought today (April) and we needed bill 3, count in months from April....April(1), May (2), June (3) we need the bill dated June 2007 regardless if you have a part month bill taking your physical bill count to 4. It often gets confusing with the part month bills, i'd advise using the welcome pack as often as possible for your reference.
An example of this can be found:

I know it can seem confusing guys. I hope im helping.
