Once again the Royal Mail has delivered a recorded item to someone else ironically on the day the earlier 'Ebay' item foul up was settled (in full!) by Paypal.
I'm furious to say the least.......0 -
Where on the e2save website does it state the cashback is for the full 6 months? I read it as if it's only for the two months' bills that you send back. Also why does Martin not mention the automatic cashback option which doesn't need bills posting back, or indeed the alternative of free gifts, some of which are more valuable than the money you are asked to spend on the phone calls and texts!
If it seems too good to be true.............0 -
Hi nottseagull, we started doing auto cash back deals so the customer can get a lump sum paid to them 90 days after the start of the contract. It saves the customer waiting and having the hassle of claiming. We also have free gifts as an alternative to cash back so you can get the latest and best free gifts with your handset such as a Sony PS3 or a Tom Tom 510 sat nav. You get them free with something you would buy anyway so they are quite attractive. Customers often take these up at the back end of the year so they can get them in time for xmas as gifts.0

I tried to post this but it ended up on a different thread, so here it is again:

I've been considering this deal as an alternative to PAYG, but I need to know if I cancel the contract after 6 months will the sim just revert to a PAYG, as I wouldn't want to change my number again.
I'm sure that Virgin Mobile would convert it to PAYG at the end of the contract if you asked them to as they would be retaining you as a customer. Alternatively, you could ask them for your PAC and transfer your number to a different provider if that suited your needs better. This space has been intentionally left blank0 -
Hi,
I ordered the sim from e2save and got it today with the invoice stating that i was on a pay monthly £15 contract. The sim card has a booklet about monthly plans, but the actual sim card has £5 top up and appears to be pay as you go. I registerred on virgin mobile to check my balance and it shows £5. Is it that i was delivered the wrong sim?0 -

Hi - it could be if you wish to call 0845 655 5522 they will investigate for you. I know we also sell pay as you go sims as well as virgin sims.
If you call that number they should hopefully resolve it asap for you.
Best wishes,

The first question was, where on the e2save website does it state the cashback is for the full 6 months and not just the 2 bills you have to return?0

If you click on the sim only deal and then click on the '6months free' bit it should load a popup with the following info:
6 Months FREE on Virgin £15 SIM Only
Send your 3rd and 6th monthly bills within 30 days of the date stated on the relevant airtime bill, to us and we will credit you by cheque with £45.00 each time.
This will save you £90.00 over the 6 month duration of the contract. In effect this means that your average line rental per month over the contract period is £0.00 per month.
Hope this helps.

All virgin contract phones/sims come like this.
It takes Virgin a couple of days to set up new contracts on their system and they give you (free) £5 credit to use whilst the contract is activated.
Any unused part of the £5 is credited to your account - so if you don't use any your first bill gets £5 knocked off it.0
