In fact to be honest it's starting to look rather sad now
I see that you still seem to feel unable to keep your arguments based solely on the facts rather than resorting to periodic unpleasant ad-hominem attacks.
I would be quite interested to know what exactly this job is that makes you so indispensible to everyone else 24/7, no matter where you currently are. A normal salesman on the move could cope with out of coverage spots by picking up their latest text or voicemail as soon as they were back in a coverage area.
Regarding coverage I cannot even begin to regard Three as a serious competitor so long as they seem unwilling to remedy the issue of having no data service at all in vast tracts of the UK served only by 2G or 2.5G transmitters (transmitters on which they have roaming rights for phone calls and texts but bizarrely not for 2G or 2.5G data due to further bad regulation by Ofcom). I wonder when, if ever, Ofcom will mandate that all the network operators must update all their transmitters to provide a minimum of 3G services. Even then this won't help Three unless they either build their own masts in those locations or persuade Ofcom to require one of the other networks to mast share with them for data in those areas.
As O2 and Vodafone will soon have one integrated mast network and EE/Tmobile supposedly already have one this should mean you only need to carry two mobiles with you (or possibly even only one dual SIM mobile with you) in another 18 months or so time.
I do find Ovivo's attempt to prevent me also using their service in future exceedingly petty as no network that sells unregistered SIMs in the shops and also allows top up vouchers to be bought in retailers could behave in the same vengeful way. Of course so long as I can live within the free minutes allowances I could always get a friend to buy me another Ovivo SIM card and pay them in cash. However to be honest I can't be bothered and I prefer to pay a few quid a month to have a data service that works reliably without artificial interference and to also have enough minutes (750) at roughly 1p per minute that I won't need to ever over-run them at 20p per minute (the Tesco Mobile price) or 8p per minute (the Ovivo Mobile price).0 -

Even if we did you are ignoring the main advantage of my Mother being on it so even in 18 months time I would still be looking at the same solutionNonGeographicalMan wrote: »I do find Ovivo's attempt to prevent me also using their service in future exceedingly petty as no network that sells unregistered SIMs in the shops and also allows top up vouchers to be bought in retailers could behave in the same vengeful way. You got kicked off because you rang the CEO on a Sunday morning on his private number because you couldn't get online ....and now after all your ranting and raving you are considering joining them again :TIt's not just about the money0 -
Errr what attacks are we talking about now
It seems that they are so much second nature to you that you don't even notice doing what other people would regard as "overstepping the line".
This is the last one you seem to have difficulty detecting. In fact to be honest it's starting to look rather sad now
I start to get the feeling that personal insults are in fact probably a day to day occurrence for you.
And if it turns out the reason you need to go anywhere at a moment's notice and go to remote out of the way places is to sell people double glazing, life insurance, burglar alarms with out of control maintenance costs on a five year contract or worthless investments in carbon equities, rare earth metals, fine wines, or films then I am sure that I would not be the only on to think that this is a far from indispensible reason to always be available on call at a moment's notice.0 -
3 are not free why bring them into it ?
Neither are Ovivo it is just a matter of how they are paid for and by whom.
In Ovivo's case it is advertising and to be fair I have found their net access to be no worse than T-Mobiles which I handed cash over for.
I say again though if data connection is important I would not use a "free" service.I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0 -

See what I mean about it getting sad :TIt's not just about the money0 -
Making an observation about something seeming rather sad could hardly be called an attack :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:See what I mean about it getting sad :T
I see that you have not so far denied my suggestion that you may in fact be some form of peripatetic high pressure door to door salesman.0 -

I think you should take the hint that posts and comments are being deleted before you risk a ban0 -

Personally I would take that as a compliment to be associated with the followers of the Greek philosopher Aristotle !0 -
I'm not sure I get the connection - why should they link with TCB & Quidco?
However, like you, I do wonder how sustainable it is.
But in the meanwhile it's been a good deal for me.0 -
