I have an unlocked Nokia 100 phone a very basic phone used for phoning and texting. No internet use available on it. I like it because it does the simple things very well and lasts a week on one charge.
Can the Ovivo freedom service be used with it? Not bothered about the data allowance.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Well, they seem to have ramped up the ads even more. And they seem to trigger every time you have a new connections.
Which is a right royal pain when you're using the sim on a train journey - every time you go through a tunnel or embankment you get the ads.
Also, the Continue button doesn't seem to work properly on mobile browsers, so you have to reopen the web page manually.
I'm falling out of love with Ovivo0 -
I've noticed the same. I reguarly use my ovivo sim on my train commute. There are regular network black spots along the route and a couple tunnels. Each time I regain coverage I get an ad, sometimes I lose and regain coverage while waiting for the ads to load, then when I press continue, I immediately get another ad.
Ovivo really need to improve their ad logic.0 -
Bargain for someone who has parents like mine who barely use their mobile phone! Or for someone who has a basic mobile and just needs a few texts and minutes!Signature removed by popular demand.0

Yes Ovivo does not require you to look at any ad's even on a smart phone. Something I've never understood but any phone is fine.
got this from ovivo today:
"All we ask is that you use your internet on your device now and again (say once a week or so) so you can view the advertising which pays for the service we supply.
Please note, effective of 2PM today, the price for the SIM has gone up from £15 to £20.
Many Thanks,
Jordan Budgen"
Luckily I bought a sim before 2PM at £15 - heheheheh0 -
Does Ovivo notify its customers that their monthly allowance is running low/has run out completely?
I am not referring to the balance/allowance checker - I'm talking about a courtesy text that tells a customer that their data/call/text allowance has run out.0 -
I got one of these for my mum only last week. I paid £15 for the sim and got £15 free credit so god knows when they changed it
I want to get one when my contract ends in Nov0
