Will be having a look online over the next few days, don't need the tv or phone packs just broadband.
No LLU here so that limits the choice, I see plusnet only have a one month contract which is a bonus.
I also have a 3 mobile mifi so outages aren't a concern.:D0 -

I received my MAC from aol this morning, I requested it on Friday.
I'm still trying to get written confirmation that there will be no Contract Breakage Fee.

I only renewed my contract with AOL in February on another 18 month contract, however when I spoke with AOL last week I was verbally told that there would be no charge.
As I've lost trust with the company I'm trying to get something in writing before I do anything else.0 -
Well if you renewed only 2m ago then they're quite justified in charging you, unless the price has gone up since by more than inflation, and you notified them within the required timescale that you were giving notice due to a detrimental change in your t&c's.No free lunch, and no free laptop

They quoted me £14.99 per month with £5 discount taking it to £9.99 (to match an offer from BT).
They have been charging me £19.99 minus £5. It was only when I questioned this last week that they told me it was going up to £25.
As this is a 25% increase in what they are charging me, I would say that would give me justification to cancel.
Would tou agree, or am I missing something?
Thanks for your help.0 -
As I said, you can cancel on the grounds given if you formally reject the increase within the given timescale. Once that period has elapsed, you are deemed to have accepted the increase, regardless of how much it is.
However trying to get this through to TT CS may be an uphill struggle, so put it in writing by RD.No free lunch, and no free laptop
