Hi all,
I am using Chrome and every time I come onto the forums (not on every page though, tends to just be once a visit) my PC freezes for about 5 seconds and then continues as usual.
Does this happen to anyone else? Any ideas on what could be causing it or a solution. I don't remember it happening on any other sites.
Thanks in advance for any help.

My Google Chrome has been freezing: I had not made a connection with MSE though.
If I open a new Chrome, the search bar stays in the middle of the page and freezes. Eventually, it jumps to the top of the page and accepts input. I will look out for a connection with my being on MSE.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

Yes this happens to me the first time I visit the forum every pc session.
Freezes for about 15-30 secs, locks up my pc and I get a brief flash of a small window that disappears so fast I can't read it.
Been happening for the last week or so, really annoying.
I'm on Chrome too.0 -
Yes, it happened to me after I had the e mail which I then requested to view on line, since then every time I go the site it freezes for a few seconds...totally annoying. You live..You learn.:)0

It's the site. There have been loads of complaints about similar issues since the 'upgrade' but not much seems to be done about it.Herman - MP for all!0

Yes for me here using ie. Just been reading through the IE slow thread and thought I should point out that speedwise I'm having no issues at all, just the initial PC 'hang'.0

My netbook doesn't like MSE on Chrome either, couple of nights now I've had multiple threads give a 404 error, when I get the thread to display and type a reply I then get a 405 error.
But I've been blaming my network connection, as it's fine if I repair that.
Odd that it always starts on MSE though - or it is just that I spend too much time on MSE?Signature removed for peace of mind0
