Does anyone else's PC hang on these forums?

My laptop freezes for around 5 - 10 seconds every time I come on here too, but I'm using Firefox. I don't know why it's started happening, but it's a new thing.

Hangs when I initially come onto the forums for around 10-15 seconds. Happens whether using my regular browser (opera) or chrome.

Yes, it has been dire since the recent site changes, thouight it was my computer then realised it is only when I use MSE

I have to confess that I too have seen the site slower since the last update.
It used to be this slow years ago then they did something to it and itwas fine but now its slow again.
Might be something with me preferring the stretchy look than the normal one.

I don't think so, I've tried the other looks and get the same thing.

And the problem with the fonts dropdown (ie not listing all the fonts) is the same with the other looks too.

I'm having the same problem - hangs & completely freezes up my laptop Browser Firefox, OS Vista.

Me too, first visit each day and pc freezes for about 20 seconds, don't expect they will sort it thought, probably just delete the thread and ignore any problems they are having.

For the past few weeks my pc's been freezing on first visit too (FF)
but today i had no problems and got straight in...could the glitch now be sorted??

Same for me,so slow andfreezes everytime I go on to a new post.Completely spoiling my enjoyment of MSE at the moment.

Since the last changes I have found the forum a lot slower.
