Does anyone else's PC hang on these forums?

yesterday i couldn't even get on this site due to this freeze problem. no other interent site i used acted up.

Froze for over 15 seconds this time. Weirdly it was on the second page I visited on the site though not the first

Thanks for the update. We've changed the site quite substancially so it's very useful to get an idea about what the problems are now as opposed to what they were previosuly. Even if the answer is there isn't much difference.

It's a long shot but if you can recall which page you hit first and which you hit second that might be even more useful?

Just to clarify I'm looking for users running standard run-of-the-mill copies of Internet Explorer who experience the hang as described above. The one which goes away after the first load.

I'm on chrome so sadly can't volunteer to help with that. I can't remember which pages I went on in which order, but next time it happens I'll make a note and report it in here. The only pages I use at the moment though are the feedback page, grabbit, discounts vouchers and codes, freebies and freebies low spend.

currently on firefox, site still freezing ocmputer for over a minute the first time i visit. now the message on bottom left is waitingforimages2. don't have this problem using ie.

Please may I ask does this happen occasionally, most of the time, every time without fail? What version of Firefox are you using? What operating system are you using? How fast is your computer (or how old if you don't know) and how fast is your internet connection? What anti virus software are you using?

I haven't been able to replicate this yet. I have personally never seen any problems at all with Firefox or Chrome on this site. Performance with those two browsers is usually excellent, especially with Chrome.

It seems any combination of the pages above the same happens, the first page I visit is fine, but I then click on the same page again and it then froze. I am accessing them from bookmarks, I don't know if that makes any difference.

why just IE ?
people are complaining of the same faults on Chrome and Firefox

waiting for p.typekit.net is what i got this time, while waiting for this page to load.
