I'll need to wait until my next pay, which is a week away. I'll manage it, but it'll be a tight month. Guess it has to be done though. Good point re. the time wasted on him!! When I think of the cooking and stuff I've done too - wow! What a waste of my time.

Attagirl. The important thing is that if you've learnt from it, you needn't regret the time spent too much. What would be really tragic is for you to go on doing this, and to find yourself still waiting, panicked, for him in a year's time. Instead, you could have glammed up, eBayed all the unused stuff(that we all have), learnt something (bellydancing, psychology, hairdressing, the world's your oyster), be quite flush (all that spare time that you've used to earn money) and too busy to even think about him.

Stop looking for evidence, you have a vast amount of it now, no need to seek out more, tell him he is gone...forever
