No his instructor gets paid weekly so no not paid no.
Can you spend the same amount thought one wants a freeview tv what is that £150 abouts and a laptop £399 doesn't work there has to be a cut off....
so give him £150 towards laptop-can't see the problem myself-its not like you'd actually gone out a physically bought a load of stuff he'd asked for that he's now changed his mind aboutPeople seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

So instead of driving lessons plus cash, give him £150 in cash - the same as you're spending on the 7 year old - and tell him he can put it towards a laptop if he wants. Problem solved.
Oh, and tell him he's luck to get anything at all and that next year, if he behaves this way JUST ONCE, he'll get nowt.******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0 -

why do you have to be so difficult?
you should have an equal amount of money for each child - say £200. so instead of spending it on something, just give him the money equal to what your other children get. thats what parents do who treat their children equally and fairly.
why is that so difficult? its the easiest and fairest way to do things. more importantly why do you not want to do that?
because hes changed his mind? does it really matter? or as others have said, are you not wanting to do this because he has changed his mind and you are not in control? even though it doesnt make a blind bit of difference to you and actually makes your life easier because you dont have to actively buy anything, just go to the cash machine!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. What have I said or done for this then? Or not as it may be? You mean to kick him out for xmas, because I am not saying fab idea thanks let's do that, let my son go elsewhere and break my heart and maybe upset OH don't know and his sibling to be here whilst his brother is elsewhere, because I don't want the dynamics of the family to change I want us to be altogether that makes me a bad mother? A desperate one?
We all know on here this is not going to last much longer, he has to go, OH says I say you say we all say but does that take the pain away?
Writing on here oh tell him to go, is easy, asking him to go and seeing him go is going to break my heart into a million irreparable pieces.
Is he causing probs? Yes, does he have countless faults yes, does he cause me pain and make me question myself? Yes can I bring myself to destroy my relationship with my son good or bad? Can I just so every one on here is happy and I do not post another thread about it and people say I waste time and patience, can I honestly ask him to leave and for us to hate each other?
oh for gods sake.
you need to get a grip on your son - youve not done it for 18 years so now is the time. or will you be posting the same thign again next month, and the one after, all until hes 48! will your last worldly action to be posting yet another thread on here about your son?
you need to be a parent, not a sap. but that requires you to actually parent. your not the first parent in the world to go through this, but most of them dont spend all their time moaning on the internet and do nothing to help their situation.
youve still not answered the questions of why you dont treat your kids equally and why you think your eldest is childish for wanting to be treated the same as his brother? is it because you dont like the answer?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. He says I have to house him I am his mother
so?????????????????? your his mother you should be teaching him how to be an adult, not being dictated to by an out of control child who clearly hasnt been raised to respect you!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Blimey! I agree with dirtysexymoney!
The OP comes across as a bit of a control freak. You need to relax and not let him wind you up. If your budget for presents is £xx just give him the money and let him decide what to spend it on. Let him have control for a change. You'll be less stressed this way that by trying to control every bit of the relationship. Let him go.
youll need a lie down after that!:p
