I renewed on Sunday morning and I'm still getting +1.8mb/s.
Have you told them you have a smartphone and therefore need faster connection, I told them last year when I ordered the SIM I had an iPhone & was asked if I needed a Micro-Sim (which I didn't due to having a 3GS), not sure if that made a difference to the speed I'm getting, but saying that T-Mobile should treat all customers the same and give them maximum speed for there coverage area.0 -
When did you sign up? Maybe when you go into the next month ie change contracts it will drop?!
Did you renew at £7.50pm?
I really want to stay with them but if they drop my speed I won't be able to get out of the contract because they will deny it.0 -
Just renewed my £ 7.50 pm deal for another year,
T-mobile rep informed me -
Your new contract starts from the date you ring up to renew ( provided its within the last 30 days of your original contract)
They will also provide a new micro sim if you want one.
You also get 7 days to cancel if you change your mind.0 -

I considered Giffgaff but not enough minutes to match the t-mobile
£7.50 pm deal I have already
600 mins
500 texts
unlimited landlines
3GB data
but must admit Giffgaff are good for no contract deals0 -

I think I'm going to resign with them, just wondering if other people can confirm that they've kept the speed?!0 -
Just done a speed test on my iPhone 3GS using the Speedtest.net App.
PING: 127 ms
DOWNLOAD: 1824 kbps
UPLOAD: 129 kbps
The upload seems to jump from 300 Kbps to 50kbps, not sure why; but don't often Upload using my phone, so no issue.0 -
And you have resigned a new contract with them?0

Yep, I agreed to continue the contract for another 12 months from 11th Sept. I was advised everything will stay the same.0
