I went on the £7.50 T-Mobile deal last year
Normally £15.00 for 500 mins, 600 sms, free internet and either free calls to landlines or T-Mobile.
This morning I've had a call from T-Mobile asking me if I want to upgrade - seems there's no continuation of this offer and I was offered 300mins / 300sms and bolt on internet for £10
Anyone else heard from T-Mobile?
Anyone been offered better?
I'm tempted to go to Giffgaff now
Thanks
Richard

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/t-mobile-half-price-sim-only-deals-offer-for-a-limited-time-now-7-82-per-month/998358 - expires today apparently.
600+500+500/Unltd for £7.820 -
Did you get free internet with your deal? I was told it wasn't included. My contract ends next month and I've grabbed a couple of talk mobile sims for a pound a month for 25minutes and a few texts which will probably be enough for me.0

Seems T-Mobile (or whoever they really were) were a little premature calling me yesterday.
I called T-Mobile late yesterday and my contract doesn't end until 10th October. I asked if a deal would be on the cards and was told they'd probably do something. They suggested I call back 10th Sept.
I have a SF phone so if T-Mobile don't do anything I'll go to Giffgaff, that's as long as the phone is 100% compatible with their network.0 -
I'm on the same £7.50 deal and you can't upgrade until you're into the last month of the contract, which for me is 11th Sept.
I want to keep the same deal, but will see if I can get it for a £5 first...0 -

In that case I'll wait for you to ring them on the 11th - can you post back in here what the outcome was please?0 -
seen as you pay 7.50 per month now, when the contract finishes will it just carry on at 7.50 per month??? or was there a clause saying it will increase?0

It was supposed to be £15 a month and the deal last year was half price.0

Im on this deal too.
The big question is, will our internet speed drop from 1.8Mbps to the lowly 0.3Mbps that they laughingly give out as "unlimited" internet now, unless you pay £5 extra!
From what I gathered the web 'n' walk supplied with our contracts was for 18 months even though the sim contract is 12 months.
If they drop my speed to unusable I'll be off! Sounds like the contract will revert to £15 a month rolling and if you want to keep the fastish (although still speed capped) internet you will be paying £20 a month!
I can see that this will be one retentions call I'll be recording...
Whoever gets the call/phones them first when nearly out of contract I'd make explicitly sure that your internet speed is NOT going to drop to the unusable 0.3Mbps. In fact I think I'm going to want that reassurance in writing.
The reason I'm so hot about this is that on the second round of this deal in February I recommended the SIM deal to my friends, also got one for my wife, and they are all on 0.3Mbps - no amount of phoning or emailing got me anywhere although I saw some people on the long HUKD thread on their forum saying they had managed to get the restriction lifted. All I got on the email was lies lies and more lies - telling me my handset was at fault, then telling me the SIM was faulty (T-Mobile do NOT cap speeds I was repeatedly told) and that I would have to PAY for a new SIM, LOL!
Finally (after a couple of dozen emails) they confessed that yes the speed is capped at 0.3Mbps unless you pay £5 extra for an internet booster and that was the end of it. I believe this is something they should make crystal clear when selling their plans with internet boosters..... To think they have a 500MB limit on downloaded content now - how would you ever reach that on 0.3Mbps - and as for streaming video, well obviously you can forget that!0 -
My account says 'You can renew your plan on 11-Sep-2011'. Do I need to cancel before then to make my bill on the 13th October the last one?0
