Sorry OP but I wasn't missing the point hence the winking smilie.
I think you should just let it go, you had a nice weekend away and the money, you say, isn't a problem. It wasn't what you would have done in the circumstances, but it wasn't you at home, was your MIL. If your that upset by all that has happened then you have learnt a lesson and know not to repeat it.
I think your very lucky to have a MIL who will come and spend a weekend with your little one to enable you to have some "me" time, as I stated before I'd glady pay 100 quid for that.0 - 
            Still can't get over it is £100, thought it was a lot more, a huge financial loss, £100 is a lot less you would pay a live in nanny for the weekend or a child carer, when we have left the kids, we take all their food to nanny's (yes she can afford to feed them) we make out that they like this and that and we take loads so she has not got to spend a penny on food and then give the kids 'pocket money' so she has not got to spend anything.
We don't actually leave money on the side for her but it is all catered for and she can have her grandkids and it costs her nothing.0 -
