  • It's funny but it wouldn't worry me if it was one way.

DH had a best woman, she is stunning, younger and waaaay prettier than me. For ages I watched for any signs and I know he really fancied/fancies her, but she just never sees him that way, so it's ok.

Plus he is completely honourable, so far, and she has some of that sense of sisterhood that can so frequently be lacking.

    Wow, that is long ago.

Congratulations on having a marriage lasting 4 times the average:T

I always feel really guilty if I get those feelings and put them down to my paranoia:o

Yes it has lasted not pride and prejudice or anything like you see on the big romantic dream films but it is fab, love him, soul mate, so good to me, paranoia is sometimes the best vibe to go on, or a hunch or the uhm moments where you think 'what is going on here then'? just being aware stops it in its tracks:D

You see you are different to me because if I KNEW that he fancied her in any way I would never put them in the same room together ever again:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Yes you see that is pretty much it, OH had no idea that it was causing such trauma to me as he said he was 'just having a laugh' and there are many people we have a laugh with but this one seemed different:D

My OH is completely oblivious to other women coming onto him. Unless they try to grab his crotch or say something like 'I want you!', then he just doesn't see it (and no, neither have happened - that I know of!)! Good job I can be very forward at times, or I fear he never would've realised I like him!:rotfl::rotfl:

I always think we don't have instincts for nothing, and i'm glad the woman in question is now out of your lives

But is that a decision/calculated or is it 'going with the flow' seeing what happens, seeing what life brings?

A person who decides to go with the flow kind of absolves themself of responsibility for their actions.

That is what I am saying, OH would have a hard job spotting the signs, I had nothing to go on, I was nevertold by either of them they fancied each other like what grateful has just posted, just a feeling:D
