Well, if anyone is interested, I finally rang the complaints number after waiting 5 weeks for my Isa Direct Reward 3 to change to the 4, after requesting the change on the 28th Feb.
I was told by a very nice gentleman that I would be getting £20 compensation, and he would be monitoring my Isa every day untill the redesignation is complete.
Will it actually happen? We shall wait and see.0 -

Sorry if this has already been answered in this thread. I'm currently an Halifax Rewards Current Account Customer, and have used my full 10/11 £5100 allowance.
I notice that Halifax require an minimum opening deposit of £1 to open a ISA Direct Reward Account. Wanting to open a 11/12 ISA, will not being able to pay a £1 deposit, prevent me from opening this account online tonight? Or can I use the transfer of my previous years ISA to open this today?
I would rather not wait until April 6th, as I think I read that this offer closes today.
Any help would be appreciated. My farts hospitalize small children0 -
I opened mine without putting a £1 in.0

What number did you ring? I haven't had any response to my complaint, I still haven't received any paperwork either.
My dh also opened the Direct Reward 4, we both transfered in funds from Santander. My dh has had an interest adjustment on his account and I haven't. I thought they did this from the date they received the transfer request.
Has anyone transfered in funds, if so have you had an interest adjustment applied to the account?
Thanks0 -
I also transferred in and did not deposit the £1.0

Open it today with a £0 balance. You then have up to 28 days to fund it in order to secure the rate.
When a bank says '£1 opening balance', it does not normally mean that you have to put £1 in at the time you open it - just that when you first pay money in, it must be at least £1.0 -

We both transferred in originally (last December) and did get extra interest added from the date they got the forms. Now you only get it from when the funds are available, so if you have a fixed term account you get it from when your fixed rate ended.
We are now transferring in 2 more ISAs, one lot ended on 31/03, the others will end on 05/04, so we are expecting to get interest from then.
We handed in the forms on 21/03, but there is no sign of the first ones arriving yet. The transfers in December went seamlessly.0 -

Yes, I transferred from Barclays. Halifax received the funds from Barclays on the 14 March and an interest adjustment was made on the 23 March.0
