I used the change link from Opinions4u's post (thank you!) and Halifax have sorted it within 4 working days.

I must be one of the lucky ones :rotfl:

Mine was sorted very quickly too although I did mine by phone. I recieved the certificate in 2 days and the isa in my account changed overnight, I was very surprised as they did warn that it could take up to 28 days but I would still get the 3% interest from the day I phoned. It went exactly the same with my daughter too

I tried - they offered to fix it but didn't offer any extra compensation. However, its been another two months and they still haven't managed to do it, so I think its time to write in with a complaint.

On the bright side, they finally upgraded my account to a ISA Reward 4 but I only know as it shows 3% in internet banking. No sign of the letter I was promised or the backdated interest..:(

I've received £100 in compensation so far but no actual replies to, or even acknowledgements of, my complaints. Just cheques in an envelope. :rotfl:
