Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! 2

Morning everyone, eugggghhhhhh to Mondays and being at work! 129 working days left until planned Mat Leave!!! Scan 1 week on thursday and I am getting so restless. Having horrid dreams that I am going to get there and they will say I have imagined it all, or that something horrible has happened. Early pregnancy can be soooooooo stressful! How do you get through 9 months without going mad! x x

Have a bit of a TMI question ladies, does being pg make the insides of your 'bits' swell because of the increased blood flow? Sorry for the strange question but the OH thinks its getting a bit tight in there and I wondered if it was normal. Would rather ask people via internet than face to face with the midwife and get all embarrased lol!

Hi 2522Laura, I am hoping that this is normal as I am finding the same thing but I was wondering if it was just me! I was planning to ask my midwife but I am not due to see her again until the 27th October so got a bit of a wait. Glad to hear it isnt just me though Being pg does do some strange things to us ladies!

Oh good, glad its not just me then! I told him to make the most of it, it wont be like that once I give birth lol! :rotfl:

Well since first coming on and saying I was pregnant, about 3 long long weeks ago I have been lurking and keeping up with you all but for the last few days I have either been busy or zapped!

I disappeared from the list quite promptly after putting myself on and can see it has happened to others so can we just make sure to use the most recent list when we add (I really hope I have done that now I am saying this lol but I did doublecheck)

I have had an appt with the midwife which went ok and just waiting on scan date now. I have felt hungover all last week and was actually sick today for the first time :S but did feel a bit better afterwards! Have stocked up on ginger ale, ginger sweets and plain crisps. Am right off food and meat which is really not like me. We still haven't told anyone yet, we had a chat over the weekend about telling a few people but at the minute we just want to make sure it all goes ok. Have looked at private scans for £100 but hopefully I wil last out, I just hope my date comes through soon!!!

hi ladies, i have a 6 week scan today as we had been on fertility drugs/IUI but conceived naturaly, i'm a bit underwhelmed by seeing a 'sac'. is this normal? we have to go back in 2 weeks for another scan, I'm sure this is normal or am i getting extra speacal treatment due to all fertility stuff?

Definitely special treatment. Enjoy!

Yes a sac is normal. At 6 weeks I'd expect there to have been a small baby and a yolk sac visible (based on my four early scans) but not necessarily a heartbeat at 6 weeks.

Most women don;t get a scan until 12 weeks unless they have bleeding, and I know of areas where they only get one at 20 weeks, so to get an early scan, let alone more than one, is very good.
