Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! 2

Pistachio- iv got a scan early i think!! im not sure on my dates as my last period was very very light and just kind of spotting but was only the 2nd one from comng off the pill so didnt dream id got pregnant that quick but readin other stories it could of been an implantation bleed. but im not sure!! the m/w is saying im 12 weeks and not counting it as a period but im keepin myself at 8 weeks til the scan proves other wise!

my booking appoinment was good, just lots of questions and filling in paperwork. you have to look after your own notes now and take them to all apoinments (this is different then last time for me) i got my bounty folder with lots of notes in and a voucher to pick up my packs but not gonna get em til after my scan. my first son is disabled so i had alot more paperwork to fill out as they have to keep a closer eye on me. it wasnt picked up til he was born very very ill so i have to be under a consulant too.

alizee thats great news, puts your mind right at rest. enjoy it all now without worry x bet it was so exciting telling everone!! lol at you puttting the coat on and stuffing pillows up it!!!

lisa26 that is BIG!!!! wow looks great though!! im goin out tonight and im know im just gonna look like iv put a stone on, at least yours is a propper little bump x

Hope everyone is well this Friday morning

Welcome to all the newbies

I have been off work last couple of days as the mild feeling of nausea and the sickness before I left for work had mutated into being sick every hour or so and not being able to keep anything including water down. It has forced my hand as I had planned not to tell work until after my scan on the 14th Oct but now plan to tell them Monday.
Like another poster on here my sister informs me that being sick means the baby is doiing well

Anyways enough of me for now

Lovely bump Lisa, I am looking near enough the same as you at the moment but only that pronounced by the end of the day so I think most of mine is bloating :0( Boobs have grown a cup size back to a nice 30DD, wouldn't say no if they wanted to keep growing a bit more though!!! (nor would the other half!) (Oh and I like your dress too)

Anyone up to much at the weekend? I think we will probably head off to the east coast tomorrow morning, my OH's Mum has a caravan on a Haven site there so we can use it for free :0)

Well crazy testing lady struck again this morning, did my last digi just to see it come up with 3+ weeks. Which it did, in about 60 seconds! So hopefully boo is all safe and cuddled in and getting ready to get growing. Got the scan net saturday, and tell my parents tomorrow! Eeeekk xx

Pregnancy thread

I seem to have disappeared off the list. Anyway I've re-added myself, added my scan date which I just got today and added the links as well.

I had my booking appointment today. All went well and what was really good is I got to go through my old birth notes and get a few things I had been unclear about explained. Just a bit disappointed I couldn't persuade her to look for the heart beat but it is a bit early still.

Oh Amymo, I also wanted to say that you should tell your fitness instructor that you are pregnant. They need to know quite early on as early symptoms like being dizzy can really affect your performance and you shouldn't be doing anything too cardiovascular. Also you should only do gentle stretches. I told my yoga instructor straight away and she has been really good and amended what I do already.

Thanks Jennynoo, I decided to give it a miss last night as I was feeling too tired! Will talk with the midwife and class leader though and will probably ditch the zumba and go to pilates as I think zumba is too high impact. Glad your booking in was useful, can't wait for mine, I have SO MANY questions!

My usual friday evening brown discharge has arrived as I now expect every week, can't wait to talk to the midwife at the booking in next Tuesday as it's ruining every weekend as I simply can't relax, and although DH is being lovely he is getting frustrated which isn't fair on him, I just so hope everything is OK and it will go away soon.

Evening ladies. Had my scan today. I felt so sick on the way there, and so scared, but she quickly got a picture up on the screen and even before she said anything I could see the flickering heart She talked me through what she could see but that was all I wanted! SHe has me as 6+4 but DD measured small all my pregnancy with her so I'm sticking with my dates.

Baby is just .87cm long, and she said I ovulated from my left ovary, which has good blood flow showing it is still pumping out hormones. Not sure what that means but said it like it was a good thing.

I don't feel as relieved as I thought I would. Next milestone is the booking-in a week on Weds, then I can book my scan.

Onwards and upwards.
