Tell me about it!! Though I have been feeling sick on and off and my left boob is quite painful when I slather the cocobutter on Oh, and my teeth are sooo sensitive. Good job I already have a check up booked for begining of October.

I really wish I had had my highlights re-done before I got pregnant, my roots are a right state and I'm too worried to have colouring done until baby is safely out.

Glad everyone is well this morning.
I've had no more pinky discharge overnight so have decided to just wait it out and not contact the EPU. I figure there are more urgent problems than mine and I think as long as I have no more then all is probably well.

Hi could someone add me to the list as on my mobile, i am 9+4 due 7th April been watching this thread for weeks and finally got round to joining, had my booking in appointment and got my scan date 19 sept (4 days after my little boy turns 1!) starting to wonder if i am crazy going to have an 19 month old and baby!

laura im sure its ok to have your colours done? ask you midwife but in my 'baby bible' it says its ok

iv got the day to myself today as ds has started full time school! at least now im pregnant i have somthing else to think about then missing him :undecided i worked full time last time so im gonna enjoy not working this time and put my feet up and read all the books iv never got round to reading!

Welcome to the newbies!!

I've just had soem exciting news......I've won £1000 on our works draw!!! We're probably going to spend it on a posh hotel for a few days away during our week off we have planned for the end of sept. If anyone knows of any dead nice posh places in the lakes then let me know!

It's funny really, I won the same amount just over a year ago when we were just starting to plan our wedding and now its happened again just as we've got pg!!

A lady at my work stayed in a really nice hotel in the lakes - I'll see if I can find out what it was called.

Have any of you told your employer yet? We have a works lunch on 23 of this month and it certainly wont go un-noticed that I am not drinking. I will be almost 9 weeks by then and was thinking maybe I should tell my boss the day before, then let everyone else know when we go for lunch (we are a small company of only 13 so are all really close) Do you think that is too early?

My work know but I hadn't intended on telling them until after the scan but as I took last Friday off I felt I had to tell them as I am cr*p at lying. So my boss, HR, Facility's manager (for risk assesment) and the chief exec (not sure why he had to know!) know and also the girl I sit next to.
