Midwife recommended to us at the group appointment I attended if you getting aches on one side lie down on the opposite side for 30mins and the ache should go
so if right hand side aches lie on left side for 30mins (worked for me anyway)
I've tried that before now too and it does seem to work.

Hi girls hope you are all well.
I have had the runs for over 5 days non stop. Had it a few days on holiday but not all together, just a day here and a day there. Anybody else been really bad with the trots?

I haven't but I usually suffer really badly with constipation and have been pretty regular for me so maybe that's the same thing just on a different level!!!0 -
Hi Ladies
Alot of you wont even know me from TTC Thread, I was only there (well posting) for one month, only been trying a month and got our Pregnant 1-2 weeks today
So I am only 4 weeks...very early days, wont be telling anyone for a while yet, due 15th/16th May.
How long do you wait before making a doctor appointment?0 -
I have been away with a bad cold for a few days but it seems to be easing off again. So sorry to hear your sad news Nicki and you and your husband are in my thoughts, take care.
Welcome to the new ladies too and congratulations!
I'm 6+1 today, touch wood I haven't had any more bad discharge, but the heavy discharge seems to be here to stay and means whenever I'm out and about I'm making more frequent loo stops, not for a wee, I don't seem to have that problem yet, just to check everything's ok (sorry, tmi!)
Read in my book that a heartbeat could be detected this week, how exciting! Have resorted to the book for good now, no naughty googling for me, it's not good for my mental health and wellbeing to be stressing myself out so I'm using the book for reference, if it aint in there then I can come here too, but no other forums, because they worry me!
No idea what happens in my area re booking in and I have no idea how to find out, when I saw the GP I was too excited to listen to the details, just the safety stuff! Think I'll call them next week to double check I'm not meant to be booking anything anywhere myself!
I hope everyone has a good week, take care lovely ladies x0 -

Not me I've had the opposite problem. According to "what to expect when you are expecting" both are common.Hi Ladies

Welcome klump and congratulations :j I've been looking out for your BFP all day
In my area you can either go to your doctor to be referred or self refer. Sone areas have one or other system. I was 5 weeks when I went to the doctor. Sone won't see you until you are 5-6 weeks but others will see you earlier. I would give your doctors a ring and maybe ask them or just book an appointment for say next week.I'm 6+1 today, touch wood I haven't had any more bad discharge, but the heavy discharge seems to be here to stay and means whenever I'm out and about I'm making more frequent loo stops, not for a wee, I don't seem to have that problem yet, just to check everything's ok (sorry, tmi!)

Hi Klump & welcome
I made an appointment as soon as I knew but the appt was about 2 weeks later as I had a day off planned and tied it in with that
I think it depends where you live...for example I made an appointment with my doctor who took notes and then said he would arrange my scan (received the letter 2 days later) the midwife works from the same surgery and he told me to make an appt to see her when I would be 9 weeks
I think best call your GP and they wil advise:jTwenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."Official DFW Nerd 1365

Thanks emsbet & glimmerofhope
I'll be sure to call them, think I might wait a couple of weeks though, as I am going on holiday, so have the appointment when I get back as I have a days holiday for the next day; so that ties in just nicely0 -
Congratulations Klump, I was keeping an eye out for your BFP too :0)0

Congrats klump. If you have a specific day in mind when you want an appointment I'd recommend calling them well in advance. AT my doctors the midwife only does one half day surgery per week and spends the rest of the time out visiting new mums or those about to pop!! I made my appointment last week (at almost 6 weeks) and its for next week when I'll be nearly 8 weeks.
I WANT SOME MORE SYMTOMS!!!!!!! Everything I have is mild enough for me to know that it could be a PG symptom, could be unrelated or could be in my head!!!0
