I do not see the problem to be honest.
That's all well and good if you have had no/little issues/problems, but unfortunately that's no consolation to anyone who does have issues - a bit like Mobiles.co.uk, some have no/little issues and some have many.
In two recent weeks I have sent three "signed for" letters and only ONE so far has produced the paid for sig. - that's only 33.33% success rate. Another member (very recent) has had two letters/parcels which have not produced a sig. - maybe we are the only two having problems??
So I acknowledge you may not see an issue with Royal Mail because you haven't personally encountered any problems, but that doesn't mean everything is "hunky dory".
To be honest, I'm more bothered about my issues, rather than your successes - logically.

I've only seen their "other side"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No confirmation at all yet for me (7 days since received) and their response was this:Please note that due to the unprecedented demand for our fantastic cashback deals it is currently taking us up to 6 weeks to process claims. We are working tirelessly to reduce this so please rest assured, we will process your claim as soon as possible.

Yes, it is an option nickp8, but I want to see their "proper side". I'll let this go for 28 days and see what happens, then 56 days from the 12th October before taking it further if needed.
They/she may well sort out this issue if contacted via MSE, but it should be the same for all - consistency. I'm very confident I will get paid one way or other as all has been done to their T&C's with everything copied (bills, letters, emails etc.).
Please post the date you actually receive your cheque, no doubt you will and we all can share each others experiences.
Again, well done with your claim - I'm pleasantly surprised.

At the time we took out our contracts Lynsey (April10) their website talked about verifying 'your claim within 7 days' and sending the cheque out 'within 28 days from the date we confirm payment' = 35 days all in. Language on the site today (still) talks about verifying with a maximum (emphasis added) timeframe of 28 days.
I am no lawyer but their terms and conditions at the time we entered our contracts refer to the language I initially referred to above. Being annexed (via a weblink) to the T&Cs looks like they are bound by the timeframes. Bit ahead of myself here but if they are not bound as I suggest, at the very least you (we) have grounds to point to severe goal post moving and an unfair contract therefore. If I am barking up the wrong tree (or just barking) happy to have my theory debunked (better now than in Court)!
Happy to be corrected as I say, but you appear to be (if not already) in the driving seat.
Suggestion to mobiles.co.uk : why not clear the backlog by approving some claims (or hiring some people). This will generate lots of goodwill leading to success culminating in an MBO and a reverse take over of CPW.0 -

Just to flag that I got some good news today - claim paid. It doesn't mean that I know - but another waypoint has been reached.
It appears that anticipating problems immediately after entering into this arrangement put me in a better place than some. That said, I have learned a lot on here so thanks to all (MJ in particular for the dummies guide).
I will continue to be watchful (you clearly have to be) and keep my fingers crossed that others are likewise located in the pound seats.0 -

BTW, did you ever get the Royal Mail sig.??
Mine (sig.) never ever was supplied (so far since 12th Oct.), so I'm claiming back the cost today via the P58 form.
