Sent bill in by online claim and instantly acknowledged by email.
It will only accept Order No. OR Mobile No. but NOT both.
See how it goes, may just post during the week if not accepted properly by Wednesday.

For people claiming cashback in the last month or so how long has the cheque taken to arrive after acceptance of claim ?
My first 2 claims were accepted within 1 working day and cheque arrived about 10 days later, this time 7 days to be accepted (by text) and now 17 days later no cheque, I know that they say up to 28 days.
I have read all the issues that people have had recently with mobiles.co.uk (me included) but are the cheques coming through and roughly what time period after acceptence.0 -
In October, I submitted 2 claims, one for myself and the second for my husband. I received 2 email confirmations. I received 2 text messages on MY phone and received MY final cheque over a week ago, my husband has had nothing, no text, no cheque. Resubmitted claim and again had email acknowledging receipt but nothing more.
Sent three seperate email messages 2 in my husbands name, still no response.
Spent 20 minutes on hold last week, without getting an answer and 0844 numbers are not free calls, are charged at 8p+ per minute, therefore continually trying to contact them on their new number is using up all the cashback before it is received.
Escalated via Carphone Warehouse now and waiting for them to get back to me today.:(:(

You have the email confirmation.
Send them a LBA giving them 14 days to supply your check otherwise you will go to Moneyclaimonline (MCOL) .
There, you sue for the whole of the cashback for that contract - not just this payment as they have fundamentally breached their contract. You add the court costs and, with your proof of receipt, they will settle in advance of the court case.
You do not accept the stage payment from the time you make your claim.
Hopefully mobilejunkie will confirm this to you and fill in any gaps I have left.
I am very disappointed to see that after a relative period of calm, mobiles.co.uk are resuming their previous prominence. My own experience was 100%, but only 2 cases.0 -

If you got text messages for your husband's claim on your phone (rather than his) then it sounds like you claimed his cashback in his name?
Did the second attempt to claim your husbands cashback go within the 60 days?0 -
You need to be able to prove that the claim for the missing cashback was approved (clearly for that contract. I am not convinced suing for ALL the cashback is going to work (though I know others would disagree).
Don't mess around with these people - wasting emails and phone calls. Send the LBA and then sue if they don't pay. They may well not pay in time, they are in a complete mess. However, if you were late by just one day THEY would refuse to pay YOU. Why accept anything less from them?0 -

Do you know the reason why they are "in a complete mess" at the moment ?0 -
I chased the claim that I submitted two weeks ago earlier this week and yesterday (one day after the 10 working days had elapsed) I have a customer services email confirming that my claim had been approved and the cheque would follow. This process previously only took 24 hours. No to chase my other claim which is coming up to 10 working days this week.
They are in a mess- people have left and they are restructuring. This has impacted majorly on non-core (loss-making) areas (such as cashback). Carphone Warehouse remain a strong company and have the resources to pay claims - you just need to be on top of everything to ensure that they don't wriggle out of their contractual duties.0 -

I have reason to suspect they are merging clones (again). Not sure to what extent but they are also mixing up t&c from different dealers (among other things). Expect contradictory information on new contracts. Also watch carefully on cashback claims; it isn't just the lack of emails that can and sometimes is going wrong!
Another word of caution; with cashback deals the problems often materialise a few months further down the line. Those (and there are always quite a few) who don't make absolutely certain they know exactly what they're doing when ordering from this dealer at present are likely to put in incorrect claims in six months' time. Don't be lazy; follow ALL the groundrules from the very start or don't be at all surpised later when claims are rejected for sending in the wrong bills. Oh, yes - and I am not referring to the existng confusion they introduced with "month zero" and "month 1"; this is something new!
I also predict that their t&c will be chaning in the near future - and that may well be a good thing if I am right.0 -
