  • Also received a cheque today, and its only actually 3.5 weeks since I submitted the bill.

Seemed like they had gone rogue with the lack of any info though as no emails or anything this time, unlike all others. Lets hope they work it all out and everyone gets their money.
  • Hi,

I recently sent via their website, my required bill to claim my first of five cash backs.

Today I received a very prompt reply via royal mail, stating that my claim has been rejected.

From all the details I sent, the only items I belive was missing was the "....and that all previous bills have been paid up to date"

I have plenty of time to re-submit the claim, but how do I give them evidence that all previous bills have been paid?

Do I send all six previosu bills from T-Mobile I have recieved?

I the letter they state I should re-submit via the website, but with so many bills to send off to prove this, I am not 100% sure I am doing this correct.

I have had over 6 years of cash backs, and this is the first one I have had trouble with :-)

Any advice from others that have send cashback claims to Mobiles.co.uk?

    Cheers

Redemption program mobile.co.uk or one stop shop Is it worthy of consideration??

I have not tried any of this redemption program so do not have any idea. You guys who has done it, do you think it is worthy of consideration.

What I have seen the mobile phone companies like mobile.co.uk will normally put the high price redemption to show people how much saving could be made. But what I have seen based on my own observation I could find a very good deal with the same types handset without the need to redeem the money back and the difference is just below £100.00 to be claim back several times in 1-2 years duration

    - How difficult it is to redeem the money back without having an argument ?

    - So here the question, is below £100 is worthy considering time and effort to spend so we do not miss the slot, arguments you said you sent it they said not, the cost and time to spend on the phone call, etc ....

    - Why the mobile phone companies want to earn their fortune by expecting people to forget something ?

At the moment, I would not bother but I will change my mind if if I know the answer of my question about, and more people confirm that is is an easy and straight forward process.
  • skaterboy...... you should not need to send any previous months bills in....only the current bill (in a pdf format which you should be able to download by logging into your mobile provider.

I'd double check which statement you need to send in. For example I need to claim in November, but with my November bill....The bill doesnt come til the middle of the month, so if I sent the most recent earlier in the month, being the October bill, I'd expect it to be rejected.

Their website should tell you which bill you need to send in anyway, make sure your pdf bill itself says that month on it.

Was it a pdf that you sent, or screen grabs and such?

Certainly there are bigger savings to be made than £100.

Read this thread, search the board for other threads and you will see.

If you do need to spend time and effort on not missing the slot, then it's not your cup of tea.

Is this a rhetoric question or you really need to know this?

Don't expect that people will queue trying to convince you.

Don't try second-guessing; your guess would be wrong in any case.

Most probably you sent the wrong bill. You really need to make sure you know exactly what you're doing or you will lose out. Check the t&c very carefully. If you DO know what you're doing and they reject the claim you can force them to pay up.
  • Hi,

Ok, I have double checked the bills I need to send, and yep, sent them the correct bill.

The only thing this time around, is that the screen that allows you to send the bill says that PDFs are acceptable. I'm sure the last time around it just said JPEG, PNG, BMP only.

Last time I also attached the first page of the bill, and then the second page as an optional attachment

I have the feeling Mobiles only read the first page, as the second page had most of the deatils they are saying they didn't have.

So now it says PDFs are ok, I've sent the full bill, so I think it will go through.

    Buts lets wait and see!

    Cheers
  • Also,

This time around when I sent the cash back claim, I received an email confirmation, last time around I didn't receive anything....strange
  • Something I was unsure about them then (above comments suggest its maybe ok)....some previous cashback companies get you by the **** by saying if you fail 1 cashback claim you're null and void for all the future cashback claims (including the one you applied for)

Does this mean that mobiles.co.uk allow you to reclaim if you fail the first time round presumably? Or speculating that if you 'forgot' about the 1st one, that could remember to claim the 2nd one onwards
  • You're WELL out of date. All that went out of the window a long time back. Unless a bill shows a missed payment, of course...
