  • I've had this problem for months. I sometimes have to send it several times in several different formats. This time it's worse and not just about them receiving the claims. I wouldn't be surprised if people start appearing with another issue which is new to me. Great fun. As always, smooth claims in the past are no guarantee of success in the future... just like the warning with investments.

I am trying to submit the 5th of 5 cashback installment claims. Previous claims were acknowledged within the hour, processed within 3 days and eventually paid out without problem. With this claim I cannot get the form to submit at all. I get an error mesage saying
" telephone number not recognised "
    " post code not recognised"
    "email address not recognised"
needless to say , none of these details have changed since my previous claims , and they were accepted perfectly ok on all other occasions. I have contacted Mobiles.co.uk vis the contact us form but received no reply yet. Hope I dont have to post off my forms I very much preferred doing it all by email.

I am also getting the above issues.
I sent in my claim early October by recorded delivery.this was my second claim.
the first time around (July ) was very effecient I received an email confirming arrival of bill and within a couple of hours another email to say my cheque was on the way.
I did telephone a couple of weeks ago and was told my cheque had been raised and was on the way,I got a bit concerned an d tried to email my bill to them and got the same as other posters ie:name, number etc not recognised..
  • Don't stop pressing until a) you get written confirmation of receipt and acceptance of the claim, or b) Royal Mail proof of delivery AND a copy of what you actually sent. Otherwise you expose yourself to unnecessary risk.

I'm learning quickly with these people, now I'm on my third claim. I have kept careful records of each claim and I can confirm that they have changed the form and the immediate acknowledgment that you receive on screen. No confirmatory email has been received, even though previously it arrived instantly.

I had to fight to receive my cheque last time, albeit it has now arrived. I strongly suspect that they have cut staff back to the bone and are looking for every possible way to trip the unwary up. Follow MJ's advice- keep careful records, be persistent and above all stick to the rules.
  • Thanks for the advice guys ,I think i will print off the bills again with the proof of delivery and send them recorded delivery in the morning , with a covering letter asking for confirmation of receipt.

Thank for your replies Lynsey and OneAday

I submitted the claim yesterday the same day as the bill became available, so plenty of time yet. Hopefully everything will go through OK, just taking a bit longer this time. To be honest claims being processed within 3 or 4 days is still good, but when I've been used to next day processing I just wanted to check if a slight delay to this is normal.

I'm still waiting for email confirmation of cashback being processed and paid, submitted last Wednesday evening got auto email immediately back saying received and would be a further response within 7 days, nothing heard since. I'll wait until Friday and then re-submit, maybe it got lost in the system somewhere.
  • I doubt you'll hear. Try sending a message via the same page rather than re-submitting; though doing the latter may provide certain advantages....

I would resubmit it just for good measure - from the communication I have had with them they have had technical problems. I got an email response to a query through Contact Us yesterday which came using an e2save.com address rather than mobiles.co.uk.

I resubmitted my claim as asked to do in the email and still no acknowledgement (always used to get that but I take screenshots just for good measure when submitting claims online :D).

Got through to speak to someone this morning who said they were told yesterday of some problems with the online form. And the lady I spoke to put my claim through while I was on the phone and cheque on the way - will see how long it takes.
  • Also having problems here.

On my 3rd claim this time, for October's bill, and after initially receiving a confirmation of receipt I have heard nothing. No reply to any emails or requests, and having tried resubmitted twice still no further news.

Will leave a bit longer before phoning as don't want to waste time held on end of phone.

    Not looking too good.

I eventually managed to submit my claim online, yesterday afternoon. no email confirmation received. Today I received a text message confirming that the claim had been successful and cheque would be processed and sent. My previous experience was that the cheque takes around 28 days to arrive...which is fine by me as long as I eventually get it.

They did ask me not to ring up to confirm things as they are inundated on the phone lines due to the problems with forms not submitting online correctly.
