This is starting to ring the 'bad feelings' alarm bells. I assumed as they are part of CPW that they are 'safe' - can anyone confirm or deny this. MobileJunkie you seem to have the inside track?
My alarm bells aren't ringing; but you do need to make sure you follow the groundrules and ensure you do get to the stage of acceptance of claim before you are safe. It isn't just the acknowledgements that are in a mess. Several of my people have experienced similar problems for at least a month or two. I suggest you check everything you do receive quite carefully, because non-appearance of the usual emails is not the only interesting development I've encountered!0 -
Probably a daft question but I've just gone to submitmy first bill to Mobiles.co.uk and noticed that they are asking for a JPEG, bmp, png file.
Since the bill I'm getting downloads as a PDF does anyone have a suggestion for an easy way co convert the PDF into a suitable format for uploading to them?

Is this yet another twist? I am sure they have been accepting pdf not long time ago.
Anyway,
open the bill in Adober Reader,
Edit >> Take a Snapshot, (the area you select can be bigger than the visible window if needed)
Start Paint >> Ctrl+V >> Save As0 -
I am trying to submit the 5th of 5 cashback installment claims. Previous claims were acknowledged within the hour, processed within 3 days and eventually paid out without problem. With this claim I cannot get the form to submit at all. I get an error mesage saying
" telephone number not recognised "
" post code not recognised"
"email address not recognised"
needless to say , none of these details have changed since my previous claims , and they were accepted perfectly ok on all other occasions. I have contacted Mobiles.co.uk vis the contact us form but received no reply yet. Hope I dont have to post off my forms I very much preferred doing it all by email.0 -
Hi there.
I am getting the same thing:
" telephone number not recognised "
" post code not recognised"
"email address not recognised".
It is my 3rd cash back and only way to get it thru was to leave the telephone field blank and just input the order number. So it seems that it was sent but I didn't received the usual confirmation email from them. There must be something wrong with their system at the moment, it stopped recognising user data...I tried to use the contact cash back team link and it doesn't work anymore. I think, just in case it would be a good idea to send our bills in normal post, just to be sure. I hope they will fix it soon as I got another cash back to claim this month.
Any insider can tell us what's going on?
Cheers, dan0 -

In the step 4 it says they accept PDF format only, so even if the form asks you for a jpg send them PDF.

I personally would use recorded mail at the moment, you could just use ordinary 2nd class and hope they update and just re-send if no confirmation (if enough time).
I have to claim next in about 3 weeks time, post for myself if this is still ongoing - not the 1st time they (Mobiles.co.uk) have had online claiming issues - take no risks and get the cash!
Good luck to all claiming at the moment, please keep updating as it will help others.

Update for me - managed to speak to someone today and she said the link was not working and they found out yesterday (which is what I got in an email reply from them too yesterday).
But as I resubmitted my claim yesterday, that had been received and its paid and cheque on its way.0 -

Its best to stick in the order number and leave tel number empty - and try that. If you ported over a new number, they may not know about it as in my case - they had a record for the number that shipped with the new sim card but not the ported number in use.0 -

Thanks but I've tried that...... they insist that they do not recognise my post code or my email address.... neither of which have changed since my last claim which went through without problems.0
