Thanks carly for the update, I normally find it takes 10-14 days for the cheque - never had to wait 28 days.................yet.
Just under 3 weeks to my next claim and hopefully this "gltch" is well sorted by then.
Good luck to all claiming at this time.

hi
I finally had a reply to my emails this morning, telling me .
."I can now confirm that your month 9 cashback claim was raised on 27 October and a cheque for XXXX posted to your home address. It may take up to 28 days for the cheque to reach you as we need to process this first"
so I will keep my finger crossed !!:j0 -
I'm still waiting for email confirmation of cashback being processed and paid, submitted last Wednesday evening got auto email immediately back saying received and would be a further response within 7 days, nothing heard since. I'll wait until Friday and then re-submit, maybe it got lost in the system somewhere.
Finally got SMS text to my mobile yesterday evening stating that my claim has been successful and cheque should arrive within 28 days.
Looks like feedback mechanism has changed from email to SMS, it does now state this on the online cashback form.0 -
Thanks for the helpful feedback people. To those who got through on the phone lines- are we being told to resubmit claims if:
(a) We managed to submit them through the online form and got the screen saying "We have received your claim- Thanks!"
(b) We have since had nothing else by way of acknowledgment- email or SMS
I'm keen to understand whether claims have just gone into a black hole or are sitting in backlog?0 -
Silly question. Whoever tells you whatever on here doesn't matter. If you want to make sure you get the money make sure they have accepted the claim (in writing) or be able to prove that they received it - and what they received. In either case they then cannot refuse to pay or say you didn't submit it correctly and on time.0
-
No it isn't a silly question. I will deluge them with repeated claims and pursue them to court if I need to.
However I come on here to learn from the experience of others and help people if I can. If others can share their experiences with me it is useful intelligence. I'm merely asking for that.0 -
The only "intelligence" is that things are going wrong and whether one person gets paid or another doesn't won't help you in particular. When things appear to be going well people become complacent and when they aren't people look for support and comfort when all that really matters is that they get their own money.
In the case of the people I am involved with we are taking the appropriate steps to ensure we are covered, regardless of what is happening on here. In one case the situation has another layer to it which is likely to involve more issues further down the line - but not (as yet) in the other cases. Each case has to be treated on merit - ultimately, that's all a court will do and it's ultimately the only "relative" guarantee that you will get your money provided you are in a position to go there and win if required. When other cpw clones went totally bad many found that out too late.0 -
Hi all.
Just went to do my cashback for this month (3rd out of 5 claims), and come across a problem. Searched and I see not the only person having problems.
Mine seem a little different to those posted on the past couple of pages though? I can't even get to the section to submit the cashback bill.
I click on My Account, and pop my details in.
Then on the next page it saysCashback
Its's now even easier to find out when to claim your cashback. Just go to the 'Your Order' menu tab and select view and it will then tell you where and when to send your claim.
so I click on "Your Orders" on the left side panel.
It shows a photo of the phone ordered, and some basic info as below
Your OrdersName:Samsung Tocco Lite Type of Connection:ContractDate of Order:xx/xx/2010Status:ShippedOrder Number:xxxxxxxx
View
But there is nothing else on the frame?
Guessing I'm meant to click View Alert on the left side, but when I do I get
"We are experiencing some delays with cashback cheques, and apologise for any incovience caused. If you are expecting a cheque, PLEASE DO NOT CALL US, simply allow up to a further 2 weeks to receive it."
Hunted around but can't find anywhere to get to the old submission page.
So how are you guys actually getting yours sent through in the first place?
If I then attempt to go to https://www.secure-mobiles.com/cashback.html I get webpage cannot be found
Is this the same for everyone now I take it?

minor update - I found the "View" button hidden in a white font on a white background, only by highlighting all the text.....it has now allowed me to go to the next page so far at least. The layout is messed up, but I can see the cashback dates listed, but cannot see anywhere to submit0
-
Just noticed that if I DONT log in, but go to Cashback from the mobiles.co.uk site I can access the page.
The page link there is https://www.secure-mobiles.com/cashback/
Whereas the one from logging in to My Account etc is https://www.secure-mobiles.com/cashback.html
what a stupid error for them to make.
Will attempt to submit this way now
edit - allowed me to submit that way, and still got the confirmation email.
Now lets see what problem comes up nextAnd the site had been smooth sailing the past year for me til today
