The only t&c I got after point of sale are in small print on A4 paper (2 pages each side).
Never read it properly, the small print is too small for my eyes - never received anything else from them after sale in relation to cashback other than the email which does not mention how to claim the cashbacks.
If andrewp369 is referring to the above t&c, they might well be wrong or they are sending out e2save ones which operate on different month numbering for cashbacks. Whatever the case, I would rely on the online version to make claims - which I have normally taken a copy each time I have placed an order.
Just for peace of mind - I would just ask them to clarify which is the correct version if there is a discrepancy.0 -
You obviously haven't ordered a contract from them recently!0

Just to clarify, I have seen the website terms and conditions and advice and agree they seem clear. However, my e-mail at point of purchase tells me to claim the first cashback in may, whereas following the chart, it would be June.
I also note in the e-mailed terms and conditions it says "month 1 is the month you purchased" Then further below in an example table it says:-
For example
month 1 - September 2010 (the month after purchase).
Like Mobile Junkie, I have had many cashback contracts going back over several years and have never failed to get a payment. However, they really seem to be trying to deliberately confuse people at the moment. I will e-mail customer services for a definitive answer.0 -
Another update on this. Have now had the phone itself and on there is another set of dates for cashback claims, this time contradicting the months on the order, but agreeing with the website. Also the address for claims is given as PO box 377, which is different to e-mailed terms and conditions (admail 4175), and the e-mail itself (admail ADM4118). They are really trying hard to confuse aren't they!!0

A positive is it would be easier to sue if needed. Confusing T&C's can help the customer.
Mobiles.co.uk aren't really doing themselves any favours, unless they are relying on customers being afraid to sue or fight.
T&C's at the point of sale are the ones to go by.

The email is not the point of sale; it is sent immediately after you order. The ones on the website at the time are the ones which matter and which you can always use to sue if needbe - provided you've followed all the groundrules.
Had yet another problem I haven't encountered before now; has been dealt with it as far as it can be at this stage, but never seen such chaos with CPW before - even when it was entirely deliberate.0 -
It appears that the online claim form format has changed yet again from last week. Now they are not asking for your post code and of course they no longer want your DOB. Therefore it is important that you don't !!!! up on your order number or your mobile number ( whichever one you decide to enter )
In the last few days they are not even asking for your name on the webform!0
