    Hi Roxy86,

Can you DM us your order number and we'll get customer services to confirm everything for you via e-mail today.

    Thanks :)

Perhaps the Rep should have gone to spec savers?

    Hi roxy86,

We've e-mailed you with an update, thanks for getting back to us :)
    Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of Mobiles.co.uk. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"

Let's be "cautiously optimistic" . It's a new year, a new rep (I draw that conclusion from the fact that he/she didn't know about personal messages being banned) and your recent posts have cautioned against Phones4U because of their missing t&c. So anyone going for cashbacks might find that our friends may be returning to being a decent company to deal with. Who knows.

You are right to be wary and advise people as you have been doing, but, just as the Quidco rep on the Referrers' Board seems to be, shall we say, active and reasonable in contrast to the current views of her company, maybe the new rep from mobiles.co.uk might be similar.

(I do appreciate that your post was not aimed at the new rep.)

Personally, I broke my annual recurring New Year's resolution and entered into a contract again as it was actually half the price of the best comparable sim-only I could find.

At present it's a question of who is the safest out of a pretty bad bunch. I use most of them but take the people I look after only to cpw companies at present; they don't have the best deals asmong what's on offer, but they are good enough and provide you cover all bases you can extract payment one way or another. At least (so far) they haven't come on here making completely untrue statements. I can't agree about Quidco; although they appear to plug holes when people go public on here they do absolutely nothing otherwise.

We all seem to put too much trust in these schemes in the hope we will benefit. Sadly we don't it is just them that get the benefit anyway

    I do.
My family had not paid a penny for 100-300 minutes every month each during last 8 years (free internet now as well). There are about 8 free phones lying in a drawer, three most recent ones are in use, several sold on ebay. In fact I even made a small profit on the top of the free handsets and the free airtime.
I must confess that my Desire was not free and cost me about £90.

Actually, I think that is what I meant to say. The company is not having its finest hour, although the Forum rep does seem to be genuinely trying, admittedly when people go public on here, which is all I have to go on.
