Result - well done Lynsey. Are you a Jan billing date? Can't remember. If you are, did you get the VAT uplift? Only pennies but better in your pocket than theirs.
Chunks
No, obviously the VAT increase was only on the Jan. bill (64p approx. extra). I got the straight £102.
I've got a E2save claim a week on Monday - see how that pans out with the VAT.
TBH I'm not that bothered with the Mobiles claim, I'll take the original 17 months free on an 18 months contract (£510 in total), plus the TCB (£50+) and obviously the phone (only a cookie) - can't be greedy.

Just to say that I have just received a cheque for my first cashback claim via their webpage.
I got confirmation of 'bill received' same day and 'Claim paid' four days later. The cheque arrived yesterday, about 2 weeks after my application. I hope all the other claims go so smoothly!0 -
May I ask if the bill was subject to the new VAT rate and did you therefore get a cheque that took this into account (I am assuming yours is some form of line rental rebate arrangement)?

Hi Chunks,
Yes the bill was at the new VAT rate but the cashback didn't reflect this. If I have a moment I will ask mobiles.co.uk what they will do for the next cashbacks.0 -

Cheque received at the end of last week (it could very well have been stuck in the post as well, as I had another letter turn up today posted first class on 7th!).

Update 4 - 4th claim submitted on Sunday after bill produced on Saturday, submitted to Mobiles.co.uk using their online submission, instant acknowledgement on screen (screen print taken just to be safe!) and email confirmation. Yesterday, received email confirmation it has been received by the cashback team. Today, emails to confirm processed and cheque issued.
Despite my initial reservations last year, following a breakdown in their process, they seem to be quite efficient and have used again (mug punter ...!).

May I also ask you Hazzanet if the bill in question was subject to the new VAT rate and did your cheque reflect the higher cost you have had to pay. Probably pence but it adds up.
Chunks0 -
Nope; it was seven months 1/2 price line rental - £25 pm.
7 * £25 / 2 = £87.50; divided by three payments = £29.16 which is what I got.
TBH, it would only be pennies on this one, but I will expect it to be included on the next claim.
