With the conventional email route seemingly 'blocked' (as used by some of the sages on here) I was going to give the webclaim a spin for claim #2 now due. If nothing happens after a few days (I will have bags of time) then it's the mail signed for route for me too.
.......
Does this mean that the cashback@mobiles.co.uk route for claims is now not working ?0 -
Hi M271,
I believe I picked up on a post (or two) on here but cannot now find it. Our buddies at mobiles got 'wise' to the email route and asked that the claim(s) (in question) be resubmitted via approved webclaim or post. Perhaps this was an isolated case. Try it. If it works, happy days. According to MJ the site's playing up so it might be worth a go.
cheers,

Make sure (if you do) that they confirm receipt in writing - phone calls aren't proof, where needed!0

Yes, the phone call would have been to ask them for email confirmation. lol
Amazingly, just got an update, but not as wanted.
Basically the main bit is:We're currently working through high levels of customer emails at present, so it may take us longer than usual to respond to you. Typically we will respond within 72 hours**** Sealed Pot Challenge - Member #96 ****

Sorted from the Mobiles.co.uk side.Dear Customer,
This is to confirm that your claim for your line rental has been processed and a cheque has been issued. Your cheque can take up to 28 days to arrive. This allows for printing and postage time.
Just want my Royal Mail postage refunded if possible.

Go for it! I know you will of course. I had my Vodafone bills arriving a month after they were posted - and after my next month's bills arrived. Roayl Mail should be held to account at every opportunity so it costs them - it's the only language they'll ever understand and perhaps it may persuade them to actually DO what millions of us have to pay them for.0

Was wondering how you were getting on Lynsey - well done.
I too have had a result today in the form of a claim 'paid' email. So I have now binned my postal back-up claim. My draft LBA will remain in draft (but ready for next time).
It's certainly feels like I'm all dressed up for a party that got cancelled by hey, what's a girl to do?
One thing that did occur to me was the rise in VAT and how that feeds through to contracts such as mine. 15-month half price cashback line rental deals taken out before the VAT rise (gross £25, net £12.50) translates to £187.50 to claim (£35 received, so far). With the change, it's gross £25.57, net £12.79 per month now. Only pennies but should some of the VAT increase be claimable/payable i.e. over and above the £187.50?0 -

Exactly, it happens time and time again at this address. Something is very much amiss.
One week on and;
Sorry, an electronic proof of delivery is not available for this item

Ah... was wondering when someone would raise that. I've been working on it for several months (successfully). The answer is, YES - but you will find it rather like extracting teeth from someone without offering anaesthetic (and there are exceptions to the "YES"). Fortunately, I'm no dentist so the thought of inflicting a little pain on them doesn't put me off. :rotfl:
It's also a question of "the" and not "some of"!0
