ok maybe not. still need help. i can go onto my bill online and there is a button that says pdf inovice. i clicked it and comes up with copy of my bill, great. but how do i now attach that? not great with comp, but figured i would send both electronic and hard copies for extra security.

  • You need to save the PDF File onto your computer under something like "my documents" just name it with the date i.e. today would be "orange 17 Dec 10" for example.

Then you need to attach to any email sent to them.

    Hope this helps.
I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!
  • i sent an email but got message back saying to resend using the online submit form. i have now done this but im going to send a hard copy by specail del aswell to cover myself.

next question is the copy bill just shows the quick breakdown page on page 1 and on page 2 shows the contact us page etc. is this all they need. i mean it doesnt show the list of calls and texts i made in the bill etc. I assume this is correct but thought i would ask you clever folk before i go ahead an send it and then get response to say its not correct and waste more time.

    thanks all in advance:)

Only the ones that allow it to make them unhappy.
Easier now than it's ever been........unless a company goes bust there really shouldn't be problem.

From personal experience and following the advice of the wise ones on here, I decided on an OCD approach. I printed out all the conditions laid down by mobiles.co.uk (T&C's applicable for my contract plus associated procedural steps set out on the website). I highlighted ALL of the pitfalls/mantraps (sorry) essential steps and followed them. Specifically, but without limitation, the needed bill...if your bill covers each and every point on pages 1, 7 and 9 (say) then send these pages. If you have some missing element there's no work around within the time frames set, you're likely to be dissapointed (and mobiles experiencing equal and opposite emotions).

    Good luck.

  • thanks to everyone for their help. i sent off a hard copy yesterday but got an email in the afternoon to say that my claim had been paid (because i also sent it using their online system on the 21st).

Thats good i thought, only one day after sending and i got email to say its been checked and has now been paid. however as most of you are aware im sure they say to allow upto 28 days for printing and delivery.

How long do you wait for the cheque to come before contacting them to say it has not arrived so that if there are any issues it can be sorted out before the 60 days is up.

I am aware by reading the numerous threads that this company likes to try their luck and so i want to be prepared in advance.

  • sorry i may not have worded that last msg very well, what i mean is do you contact them before the 28 days even though they say not to?
