Allow the 28 days for the cheque; nowadays it should arrive sooner. The important thing is that you have it in writing that they have accepted and "paid" your claim.0

thanks mobile junkie.:j0

Update 3 - 3rd claim submitted using the online submission form, instant acknowledgement that bill was received, hours later into working day and bill accepted by cashback team, claim processed and cheque now issued (up to 28 days for delivery).

Cheque received at the end of last week (it could very well have been stuck in the post as well, as I had another letter turn up today posted first class on 7th!).

Threads with "mobiles.co.uk" are getting boring now as all the latest posts seem to be saying they are paying up with no problems. :j:j
Wonder if there have been some internal changes or perhaps speaking too soon?0 -
Next claim in, sent yesterday and received today at Watford.
Yet again, no sig. as yet from Royal Mail - let's see if they produce a sig. this time or give me free stamps again. :j

I was wondering if you would go down a different route now that the situation at mobiles appears to be better than it was Lynsey. Using the old maxim relating to leopard and spots I see that you are sticking to your guns plus your version of the 'T&Cs' although the address for mailing has changed so that might add a day or so (unless Watford accidentally got involved - could you clarify Lynsey).
With the conventional email route seemingly 'blocked' (as used by some of the sages on here) I was going to give the webclaim a spin for claim #2 now due. If nothing happens after a few days (I will have bags of time) then it's the mail signed for route for me too.
On the topic of no signature proof (although item delivered) I claimed too but as yet no response. Perhaps the compensation stamps got lost in the post........0 -
Hi again chunks - sorry you never got your stamps, I've had several lots for various issues. All used and would gratefully take more.
I just used the Watford address as they haven't informed me of any other and until I get something in writing from them I will send the next one the same way.
No email acknowledgement yet from Mobiles.co.uk and the last time I had to request it - maybe the same this time, but I'll leave it until Monday.
Good luck if you use the online method, it probably is worth a try. I like the trusted method that has served myself well over the years................oh, and I like the free stamps as well. :money:

Thanks Lynsey. Perhaps mobiles heightened attention to customer service resulted in their sending out one of the cashback team specifically to pick up your 'misdirected' mail (I have a mental picture of deep snow and an intrepid mobiles employee dressed in corporate colours, his sweatshirt emblazoned with a mobiles.co.uk logo on the front and ‘Emergency Response Team’ on the back – perhaps his chilled hand was too numb to sign for the mail). Time for my medication methinks.
