I have had terrible problems with them.Have received one cashback of £67 ,due another three one of which is now overdue by about 28 days however I have recieved an e-mail today saying that one has now been cleared for payment.
This time and the last time I basically went ballistic on the phone telling them they were at it,threatened them with legal action, told them the internet was full of sites complaining about them and that I expected them to go bust.
That was last week when I was promised payment in the middle of June now it looks as though they have paid out.
Seems to me they are trying to keep people like me,who go off one one, quiet.
Try the rant thing and see if it works.
Definately one of the shadiest companies it has been my misfortune to deal with, never again!
Best of luck.0 -
Got my confirmation email's today that our 3rd cashback payment (2 x £90) would be paid this Friday - that's bang on 45 days. Maybe they've got things back on track?0

This is my 4th contract with mobileshop.com.
As far as the cash backs are concern I did not have any problem at all. The only draw back is that they takes around 2 1/2 month to refund, but the refund is sure.
I would recommend them to any one who is planning to get a new phone.0 -
Sick of waiting so yesterday opted for the 99.00 Argos voucher.0

Is it that simple?
I've no idea why Argos gift cards would get paid quicker and MS haven't explained either, but I'm tempted to go for them this time as after Tesco, Argos seem to have second dibs on my pay packet anyway!
1) They probably get preferential terms from Argos e.g. 5% discount.
2) They will be able to claim 17.5% VAT back on the Argos vouchers which they can't do on pure cashback.MS do say on their website that the Argos gift cards have been paid for.
Unless they have pre-paid for £x thousand with Argos, I can't see how they can do this - certainly not on an individual basis because they don't know who will want Argos vouchers and how much their claim will be for.0 -
Has anyone had any luck faxing to the cashback claim line (09069592033)? I've used once in April but now it's not working.0

Newbie here
I currently have two contracts with mobileshop...
The first one, they paid the first claim no problems
The second contract, they told me the wrong bill to send in but accepted it as they had recorded the conversation....
However that first claim on the second contract is now on day 72 and the second claim is coming up (currently day 36)
I have just rang MS to find out where the cashback is and they have said that their technical problems are now resolved but they are dealing with the huge backlog of claims
both will definitely be paid, I am also due to send in a claim for both contracts mid june!
Hopefully it will all now be resolved!:T0 -
I have had enough of this now. You will find a complaint form on their website. This is what I have written:
FORMAL COMPLAINT
I am writing this complaint as a last resort, as previous enquiries by email or phone have not achieved the required result, namely cash back in accordance with your terms and conditions.
According to my printed copy of the cashback terms and conditions, you aim to pay out valid claims within 45 days. The terms and conditions printed on your website do not display this information, however you cannot unilaterally change terms and conditions like this.
Two payments are now substantially overdue. Unless I am paid in full by 7th June, I will contact Consumer Direct 0n 08454 04 05 06. This will probably result in a complaint to your Trading Standards Home Authority about this change in the terms and conditions. I will also complain about the delay in payment.
If payment is not made following these actions, I will have no option other than to sue Mobileshop in the County Court, and ask for my own administrative costs plus interest.
I look forward to hearing from you.0 -
I am still waiting to be paid for a claim submitted 16/02/2007.
Two weeks ago I sent mobileshop an email giving them two weeks to pay. I received the standard 'technical delay' response and have heard nothing else.
Has anyone had to pursue mobileshop by moneyclaim?0
