    That would seem about as risky as dangling your knackers in a crocodiles mouth if you ask me!

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Just a quick update, my husband has today received confirmation that payment will be made this week. He sent them a very strong email a few days ago informing them that he would sue for all future payments in advance plus costs etc if not paid by this Friday, May 4th. If anyone is struggling with what to email/send them, pm me and I will forward a copy of his email. I don't think it's really fair to air it in public. When he receives his payment I will post again.

    Best of luck to you all,

    Lynsey

    I have been fleeced by other companys - I rang mobileshop was given the lady I spoke to direct number, my money was paid when I was told it would be, and my expired claim has been put through......if they pay this one I will be happy

    The experience I have had will not put me off and seeing others are getting paid as well says to me maybe what they are saying is true:confused:

    Is anyone else having problems with their final payment? I am no longer acustomer with mobileshop, and it seems dubious that my final cheque has not turned up over three months after it was due (after twice weekly chases from myself).

    Result - husbands money paid in bank today (deadline day).
    Anyone having problems, I wish them the best of luck, but on our experiences alone, I suggest;

    Don't give them more than 7 days to pay after the initial 60 days before letting them know they are not trading within t&c's and are in breach of contract. Give them a deadline to pay (14 days) and stick by it informing them that you will sue and money paid after your deadline will incur added costs, and don't be afraid to sue, remember they are the one's in breach and IMHO would lose in court. Obviously this applies to all companies and not just MS.

    Unlike others, my confidence has waned with MS, who before this fiasco were regarded as a reliable company. I have decided not to judge them on this little episode, but on my future two due claims and my husbands three due claims still remaining - I certainly hope they can turn this around, but out of respect for their customers any future delays from now on in shows contempt. This is not a one off, the last nine months or so have seen them slip and claims have had to be chased time after time. I don't know the reason for this, maybe a change in mangement, who knows?

    Best of luck again to all who have not yet been paid, and best of luck to MS to turn things around.

    I am happy to report that FINALLY I have got my two more than usual overdue cashback payments safely in my bank account. I don't know if it was due to my persistent nagging as they only sent out the standard 'your payment has been processed ' email on both occasions with nothing additional added. One was over 5 weeks late while the other was 3 weeks overdue.
    I will still not being taking out another contract from them especially as they now have less 12 month contracts and make you claim far more frequently but sadly I have another 4 more cashbacks to go so maybe they could up their performance and convince me they are worth another chance.

    Has anyone else taken out a contract for a mobile through mobileshop.com? I am currently trying to get them to pay out on three of my four cash back vouchers with no luck. Apparantly their system has gone down and the repayments will take considerable time! I took the phone contract out in April 06 and sent off claims in November 06, February 07, April 07 and May 07 and so far have only received one. I have an agreement with them and am considering threatening them with the small claims court - any ideas?? I've recently signed up for new deal with them too!! Looks like it might have been a mistake.:confused:

    The small claims court is the answer. I'm amazed you let it get past the first claim. They are in breach of contract as long as you have sent in the correct bills you will win and costs will be recovered.
    Check out this link, you are not alone.
